The town is only an hour south of Perth and thirty minutes south of Armadale or east of Rockingham. You can go for a walk in the bush, a picnic, a mountain bike ride or just enjoy a coffee in the hills. There are many ideas on this website,, which is maintained by the Jarrahdale Heritage Society.

The Old Post Office Museum is a good place to start your visit. There are many interesting research tools in the Museum, collections of family facts and photographs, things to amaze and remind you of Jarrahdale's past. Many of the walks start from this point.
