This is a self contained apartment situated in the south wing of a large house where the owners live. The apartment has separate access with private facilities and private courtyard.
The apartment consists of a separate bedroom with a queen sized bed which sleeps 2 guests.
A separate lounge/diner with a double sofa bed that can accomodate 2 further guests.
Maximum of 4 guests in total including any children.
The lounge/diner has an extendable dining table with 2 chairs and 2 stools
A TV is supplied.
There is a separate galley kitchen with a 2 burner hob, small oven with grill and pizza plate, top loader washing machine. Dishwashing liquid, liquid hand soap and washing powder is provided free of charge.
Free Tea, Coffee & sugar is provided in the small Butler's pantry which houses a microwave, toaster, kettle and fridge with freezer compartment.
The space is great for couples or families/small groups of up to 4 guests wishing to self cater. 1 child =1 guest
There is a private entrance into a shaded courtyard with a 2 burner BBQ and grill plate, outdoor table and seating for 4 guests. good sized washing line for drying clothes, with shade cloth for those hot summer evenings.

There is ducted air conditioning in the apartment for the summer months and electric heaters are provided for the winter months.

Karen and Mike are very happy to interact with guests, however this is at their request, otherwise we prefer to respect the guests privacy.
They are available to sort out any issues by phone and someone can usually gt back to the house within a few hours if there are any issues.
Karen and Mike have 2 large rescue dogs, which are very friendly once introduced.
the neighbours both sides also keep dogs. The dogs do not have access to guest accomodation or p;private courtyard area.
There is a lockable interconnecting door between the main house and the apartment.

Beaconsfield is a suburb of Perth Western Australia and is located 10 minutes drive south of the City of Fremantle.
it is a quiet residential area and is a 5 minute drive or 20 minute walk to South Beach
The accomodation has easy access to public transport. IT is a 5 minute walk 400 metres to the bus stop on Lefroy Road where you can catch the bus for the ten minute ride into Fremantle. Return buses can be caught outside Fremantle markets and Fremantle train station.
From Fremantle it is a 25 minute train ride into Perth.to the beach.
There are multiple restaurants within a 20 minute walk on South Terrace.
Fremantle markets are open on Thursdays and Fridays.
E shed markets by the ferry terminal behind the train station open daily.
The accomodation is within easy access to Fremantle: it is a 5 minute walk 400metres to the bus stop and a ten minute bus ride into Fremantle, where you can catch the train 25 min ride to Perth or the ferry to Perth. Return buses can be caught from the train station and outside fremantle markets.
