Description

Our spacious granny flat is neat and clean, suitable for business or travelers. It's within walking distance to Bull Creek shopping centre, cafes, public transport to Perth and Fremantle, Fiona Stanley hospital, St John of God Hospital, Murdoch University, near freeway and Jandakot Airport. This location is great for day trips to the beach, Rottnest, Swan Valley, Busselton or Margaret River. The granny flat has a separate entrance, looks out to a garden with roses, herbs and fruit trees.

Stand alone 2 bed 1 bath 2 toilets unit with Security front door. Includes: Efficient cooling system for the Perth summer, WiFi, digital TV, comfy queen size beds, shampoo and towels, rice cooker, fridge, iron & board, washer and clothes line.

Neighbourhood overview

A super convenient location to shopping centre, St John of God Hospital or Fiona Stanley Hospital, visiting Murdoch University, or simply a drive to Busselton and Margaret River regions. Woolworths Supermarket, Target, Dan Murphy Liquor Store, great Asian eats, Hungry Jacks, Kebab Boys, Crust Pizzas, Shell service station etc are within walking distance.

Check-in is at 2pm or after, and Check-out is by 10am.

Electricity: Power is expensive in Perth. Kindly avoid long hot showers, switch off lights and electrical appliances when not in use or leaving the house.

House Safety: Turn off all cooking appliances when not in use. No candles.

Ventilation for the Western Australia climate:

Exhaust fans – turn on exhaust fans when having showers and/or cooking to prevent moisture and moulds growing on the wall and ceiling.

Ducted evaporative cooler – the cooler has been set to manual Man and cool to provide efficient cooling. Please DO NOT change settings. Just press the on/off button as it has been set for optimum temperature and fan speed.

Importantly for air flow, leave a gap at the window, or leave front door ajar with security door locked.

Being a clean space:

Please respect the unit and what's available for use inside and outside of the property. Whilst we do a thorough clean between each guest stay, we kindly ask that prior to leaving, you clean and put away any dishes or kitchenware used and put any dirty towels in the hamper. Kindly clear the rubbish bin after meals and litter around the unit. It helps us get through our cleaning process quicker and allows us to keep cleaning costs down for you and future guests.

Noise: To be considerate to our neighbours, we kindly ask to keep things on the quieter-side after 9pm. And if you want to listen to music, please lower the volume or enjoy via headphones.

No Smoking Policy: Being a family home, we have a no smoking policy inside the unit. However, you can smoke near the driveway and no littering of cigarettes butts.

Damage:

We understand that accidents happen. But we do ask that you please let us know when they do. Chances are we can fix them as effortlessly as possible which also means better chances of having your full security deposit returned too.

Occupancy:

We understand that for a whole variety of reasons, you may want additional guests to stay at the place. In the event that you want additional guests to stay, please let us know. The flat can fit 2 more people for $10 per person per night.

Guest access

Separate access via car port. Entire unit is available but room/s will be close/locked if only one room is used by guests. For example, a couple using master room. The other room will be locked avoiding unnecessary use by children and uninvited guest/s causing undue/excess cost to the hosts. If you disagree, please contact the hosts.

Guest interaction

Contact host 2 days prior to arrival for confirmation or late arrival. Text host 1 hour before arrival to access key lock pass code for keys to granny flat.

Getting around

Buses to Fremantle and Perth surrounding areas are available at South St, 5 mins walk away and Murdoch train station is within 10 mins walk.

Other things to note

Reasonable electricity consumption is encouraged. Park at designated car bay. There are hot water bottles for winter comfort. Please dress appropriately for seasonable climate.
