This beautifully restored 1924 character home is right into the heart of the Victoria Park/Burswood Community. Close to Perth City CBD, Crown Casino, Swan River foreshore, Café Strip, shops and the domestic and international airports. The retail precinct along the café strip includes a variety of shops, eateries, ranging from quick take-away to licensed restaurants, taverns and pubs. Train and bus services are also easily accessible to the City of Perth for shopping, the Perth Cultural Centre WA Art Gallery & Museum, Kings Park and to many of the other tourist attractions available.

The home offers space, comfort, character in a very central location within minutes from everything you will need for your stay, whether you are staying for work or pleasure.

This home offers ample room for a family or for couples travelling together and is offered for your exclusive use. The functional kitchen is equipped with fan forced oven and gas hob, microwave, toaster, kettle and fridge. Adjacent to this is a laundry which includes a front load washer and dryer. The open-plan living area includes a dining table and comfortable sofas, smart TV and Wi-Fi. Reverse cycle air conditioning is also provided. Double French doors lead onto the rear courtyard where there is alfresco dining.

All 3 bedrooms feature queen size beds with orthopaedic pillow top mattresses, chest of drawers/storage for hanging clothes and fully restored ornate fireplaces. The master bedroom also includes an en-suite. The front verandah overlooking the gardens offers a peaceful place to sit and relax.

Other amenities include tea, coffee, sugar, toiletries, hairdryer, first aid kit, linen, towels, iron and ironing board. Parking consists of 5 off street parking bays, 2 of which are in a garage.

VICTORIA PARK – There is a vast array of bars, cafes and restaurants along the Vic Park café strip which is as close as a 5 minute walk from your stay. The selection is both many and varied, and includes: Indonesian, Chinese, Japanese, Himalayan/Nepalese, Asian, Vietnamese, Thai, Malaysian, Mexican, Italian, Lebanese, Turkish, Tapas Bars, and Mediterranean. The Vic Park café strip also plays host to a number of retail outlets, banks, supermarkets and gift shops.

CROWN CASINO – Just a 5 minute walk from your stay, it offers fine dining restaurants, bars and an international standard casino and convention centre. The complex operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The Crown Perth is located nestled overlooking the Swan River and also boasts magnificent parklands which include barbeque facilities, picturesque walk ways and cycle ways.

PERTH – 5 minute drive, perched on the banks of the wide Swan River, between the Indian Ocean and the sands of the Nullarbor Desert, Perth is one of the world's most isolated cities, yet still boasts a number of tourist attractions.

BELLTOWER 4km away. Worth a visit to read about the history of the bells and actually get to ring them.

ELIZABETH QUAY 4km away. An interesting place to just take a walk along Perth's waterfront. It's also a great place to just sit back and watch the world go by. Also the departure point for worthwhile boat cruises and ferry rides Barrack Street Jetty


SWAN RIVER CRUISE - Spending an evening on the Swan River highlights the beauty of the city from the water. As you glide past the downtown riverfront and surrounding suburbs, admire twinkling lights reflecting on the water. Your cruise starts in central Perth, where you’ll board your boat and take off down the Swan River, which winds past the city centre and Perth’s upscale riverfront suburbs. Day time cruises are also available.

WINE CRUISE - Cruise through the Swan River from Perth for a relaxing day on the water that includes a stop at a local winery. Take in views of Perth and the riverfront scenery of the upper Swan River while snacking on morning and afternoon tea, and enjoy wine tastings on board the boat before visiting a winery.

ROTTNEST ISLAND - Travel to Rottnest Island, a favourite local getaway due to its secluded beaches and relaxing environment, by high-speed ferry from Barrack Street Jetty. Embark on a wildlife cruise to look for seals, dolphins, sea birds and other marine life. Afterward, you have free time on the island to explore independently; perhaps rent a bike or go swimming, snorkelling and scuba diving off one of the white-sand beaches. Maybe visit one of the historical attractions to learn about the heritage of Rottnest, which was discovered by Dutch explorers in the 1600s and has since been home to shipwrecks, an Aboriginal penal colony and an internment camp. Today, as an A-class nature reserve, it is loved for its tranquil atmosphere, rustic charm and minimal development.

PERTH ZOO – A short ferry ride across the Swan River to the South Perth foreshore, followed by a short stroll to the Perth Zoo. It's a great place to visit, pretty surroundings and plenty of shady places to sit and picnic or rest in between seeing the animals. The Orangutan area is state of the art and the Perth Zoo breeding program world class.

PERTH MINT 4km away. Very interesting to see gold poured into the mould, cooled, and then made available. You can touch the gold bullion or step on the scales and see your weight in gold. It is the only gold processing venue in Australia.

SWAN RIVER FORESHORE 3km away. You can stretch your legs along the endless sidewalks, or rest on the spacious lawns. Perth has broad green spaces on both sides of the river. This provides vistas, walk ways, cycle ways and various other activities.

MALLS AND SHOPPING/LONDON COURT 4km away. Older buildings are still preserved nicely, and the usual high street brands are available. Good mix of clothing, accessories, supermarkets, cafes and restaurants. London Court is a haven of shade, a hive of activity and a taste of old England. Fine treasures abound in small shops and businesses, take a break and enjoy a Devonshire Tea, look up to read signs and historical facts, while you stroll through this mock Tudor Arcade. Definitely worth a visit.

HAWKERS MARKETS Night time seasonal 4km away. With many food stalls selling a variety of cuisines from all over the world - Moroccan, Spanish, Korean, Asian and even Argentinian food, you will be spoilt for choice. The live entertainment on stage is a bonus. Definitely a great place to spend a Friday evening.

PERTH CULTURAL CENTRE AND ART GALLERY 4km away. The City of Perth constantly host great events in this space, any time of the day or night. There is always something going on. The Art Gallery is also in the cultural precinct close to the Museum of Western Australia. It is close to downtown and is accessible by the free CAT buses. There are lots of outdoor seating areas so this is a great spot to spend a good deal of time.

KINGS PARK - 6.3km away from your stay but much closer by a CAT bus free public transport within the Perth CBD. Kings Park is the biggest inner city park in the world at a little over 14 square kilometres. King's Park and Botanic Gardens boast fantastic views of the city and surrounds. There are various very interesting walks around the park itself.

WAR MEMORIAL - a fabulous view and the inspirational eternal flame are worth seeing. This is one of the most beautiful and well maintained parks in the world. The trees are awesome and were planted in the honour and memory of fallen soldiers. A site worth seeing.

BOTANICAL GARDENS - Here you see wildflowers so beautiful and varied that are not found in any other country.

SPECTACULAR VIEWS - Kings Park & Botanic Garden really offer the best views of the Perth skyline. Both day and night. Furthermore it is the ideal spot to walk or hike. A CAT bus free public transport within the Perth CBD takes you directly to the park entrance.

TREE TOP WALK - There is shade under trees or walks which take you through the tree tops and allow you to see brilliant views of the city below.

SWAN VALLEY 14.5km away. Only 25 minutes from the Perth city centre, Swan Valley is the oldest wine growing region of Western Australia. You will find, age, a blend of old heritage, fresh produce, first class wines, colourful culture and art. There are also a number of award winning wineries, some offering superb dinning and all offering tasting all year round.

FREMANTLE 17.5km away. The historic port city of Fremantle, from its origins as a fishing port to its present-day reputation for cafes, local artwork, shopping, microbreweries and live music, are just some of the many attractions.

FISHERMAN’S WHARF - is a relaxing place to visit, enjoy fish and chips or one of the many eateries. It is a working harbour so you can see the fishing boats as well as yachts. Also be sure to check out the replica tall ship.

FREMANTLE PRISON - Fremantle Prison is the largest convict built prison in Australia and is Western Australia’s only World Heritage Listed Building. Enjoy an interesting historical tour of Fremantle jail guided by a retired prison officer who will show you the various parts of the prison, the jail cells, hanging gallows and exercise yard. Alternatively there is also a Tunnel tour, which is also very atmospheric and informative.

FREMANTLE MARKETS weekends only - The Fremantle Markets built in 1897 offer a multitude of great fresh produce, food, trinkets, clothing, jewellery, skincare, souvenirs and live entertainment. A great place to shop, eat and people watch.

FREMANTLE ROUNDHOUSE – The Round house was purpose built as a jail by the colonial settlers soon after their arrival in 1829. It is the oldest building in Western Australia. There are a range of views from the Round House which include the busy port of Fremantle port and adjoining coast line.
