This beautifully restored cottage is perfect for either a holiday or business stay in Fremantle. Located in South Fremantle, we are walking distance to the beach, many cafes and restaurants and and easy access to shops, public transport and all local attractions.
The interior is an open plan layout with polished jarrah flooring throughout. It is comfortably furnished with ducted reverse-cycle air conditioning, TV, DVD Blueray 3D, Stereo and wireless internet. It has a modern kitchenette complete with microwave, dishwasher, full size fridge, electric fry pan,toaster, small slow cooker, rice cooker.....all the usual kitchen items. It also has filtered drinking water. Please note, a 7 day a week launderette is located around the corner.....therefore we chose NOT to install a washer in the Cottage. The launderette is also walking distance, so close and convenient we also use it.
The large bedroom has a queen sized bed, side tables, alarm clock and lamps with plenty of draws and hanging space. A porta cot can also be provided upon request should you have a baby.
The well lit bathroom features a large shower, vanity and toilet. sorry no bath.
The cottage is fully furnished to suit business visitors and holiday makers alike.
To the front of the property is an open verandah the Cottage door is off the verandah which allows you to sit and cool down and enjoy the afternoon sea breeze on a warm summers day.
The Cottage is NON-SMOKING accommodation - please respect our request and only smoke outside.
Orient cottage is located on a small quiet street in South Fremantle
South Beach is located almost on our door step 3 minute walk.
The FREE CAT Bus stops at the end of our street 30 second walk.
Parmelia Park is at the opposite end of our street 30 second walk
We are in very close proximity to a number of local cafes and restaurants 1-5 minute walk
The cottage is within walking distance of two local shopping centres.3 minute walk
We are also located close to the Fremantle Sailing Club. 4 minute walk
The nearby South Beach offers safe swimming, fishing, sailing, sailboarding and a variety of other water sports for those who are more active, or you can just sit on the beach or grassed area and relax while reading a book.
Walking and Cycle paths are close by which provide access to additional beaches, the Swan River, Central Fremantle and further afield.
There are a range of reasonably priced restaurants all within a few minutes walk of the cottage
Fremantle boasts a large number of unique attractions and sights, some of the more popular attractions are the WA Maritime Museum, Round House, Fremantle Arts Centre, the notorious Fremantle Prison, Fremantle and E-Shed Markets, Heritage buildings and al fresco dining. You cant visit Fremantle without taking a Ferry ride across to Rottnest Island Rotto as it is affectionately named.There are also a number colourful local festivals held throughout the year which adds to the vibrant feel of Fremantle.
