You'll love the industrial feel of my 3 bedroom apartment, with 'vintage washed' linens, farm sourced wares & curated collections. It is part of Mt Claremont Village, built in 1950. Sitting on top of a row of shops and one of only 4, it has a buzzy urban feel - quite unique for Perth. My apartment is above cafes, an award winning bakery, pharmacy, boutique, travel agency, newsagency/post office - & minutes from the beach, parklands & walking trails. The apartment is fully self contained with linen & towels provided. There is a courtyard on entry and a lovely east-facing balcony which is lovely for morning coffee or afternoon drinks. Guests will have the entire apartment to themselves.
Mt Claremont is a friendly and funky neighbourhood with a busy community feel. There are lovely streets to walk and a beautiful park & wetlands with a lake and amazing birdlife. Farmer's Markets are held every Saturday morning at Mt Claremont Primary School, just a 15 minute walk away. Perth's best beaches are within walking distance and there are great cafes and funky shops nearby in Cottesloe. The very stylish Claremont Quarter shopping area is a short drive or direct bus ride.Perth city is about a 15 minute drive, as is Fremantle. There is a bus stop right outside the door and the train station connects with the bus, or is an 8 minute drive away.
The apartment is accessed by one flight of stairs so please be mindful of heavy or cumbersome luggage. Unfortunately it is not suitable for wheelchairs. Whilst it is gorgeous to have early opening cafes and bakery, the flip side is that there may be some early morning noise from delivery vans.
