Description

A beautifully appointed one bedroom apartment with a balcony, in a security building and just a short walk to the city, the river, Kings Park and the Conference Centre.

Facing North with river, city and Hills views, this is a private and secure city haven which has been fully refurbished and now has free wifi.

An ideal escape from the hubbub of the city yet close enough to walk to it all in just a few minutes.

Please note-this a non-smoking apartment.

Our cleaner is very accommodating, but it is not always possible to offer changeovers on public holidays .

Rated 4 out of 5 by from City Haven, Perth, WA City Haven is a very well presented unit very close to Perth's city centre. It has great city views and over the Swan river - lovely at night. We strolled into the city centre , approx 10 minutes, but could have caught the Cat bus ( free) . Elizabeth Quay is a Cat ride away too,& Perth's jewell Kings Park is just up the hill, Parliament House & the freeway close by. Shopping for supplies is a short drive away in Subiaco or a walk into Perth centre. City Haven is ideal for short stays, well equipped & comfortable. We enjoyed our stay & look forward to the next time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great property We have stayed at the City Haven in Malcolm Street 4 times in the past year and find that it is ideally situated for easy access to Kings Park and for walking into the city. The flat has been well equipped and is clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to return in the future.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not The City Haven, but Hillside Gardens! What a fiasco to access our apartment. Arriving around 11pm there was no 'The City Haven' anywhere in Malcolm Street. It was, in fact, 'Hillside Gardens'. Why do they say The City Haven? Even the taxi driver hadn't heard of it. Then there is the problem of actually being able to see the unit number, which was behind the screen door, which, at night, had to be opened to see the number. This is disconcerting if you open the wrong screen door. Reading the numbers on the key pad to access the apartment was almost impossible and is not something one should have to be doing at night either. We eventually had to ring our contact, and then the instructions were not absolutely right, and we finally had to go to the caretaker to get a key! Why can these apartments not have a key pad on the apartment doors, the same as at the gate? Even our written instructions on the receipt/Invoice did not explain the workings to obtain the key, although it said it should be printed off for EASY access! That said, both the contact person and the caretaker were pleasant. The apartment itself was good.....nice bathroom, good kitchen with all equipment, lovely little balcony and plenty of space.
