Here in Rockingham it will be hard not to find a great stretch of beach which is ideal for small children to swim, as it is protected from boats driving past, sunbathe, or just relax in the lawn areas under the shade.
The foreshore is perfect for the scenic morning walks or bike rides on the wide footpaths provided that run along the foreshore. Along the way you will find various playgrounds some with BBQ facilities and gazebos close by, great to have picnics and people watch.
Rockingham is a seaside suburb and Regional centre 47km SSW of Perth, and 28km South of Fremantle. To west of Rockingham lies the Shoalwater Islands Marine Park, with nearby Safety Bay being ideal for kitesurfing and windsurfing. A 45 minute train trip will take you into the heart of Perth city, driving is approximately 50 minutes but that does depend on the traffic at the time of day you are travelling.
Mandurah is only 30km away 35 mins drive.This holiday town also has many features and attractions to keep the whole family entertained.

GARDEN ISLAND - is North of Point Peron and is home to Australia's largest Royal Australian Navy Base including a home for submarines. The Southern section of Garden Island is not accessible to the general public but with boat access you can land on the Northern section of this picturesque island.
POINT PERON - Is on the Northern tip of Shoalwater Bay and has some rugged cliffs a spectacular ocean outlook , a scenic beach and many walking trails through interesting natural bush.
PENGUIN ISLAND - Penguin Island has some lovely walk trails and is home to Shoalwater Marine Park Information Centre. Raised boardwalks makes access to the island and walking around the Island easy for all ages. See the Fairy Penguins that hide in the beachside caves and under the boardwalks. Penguin Island is open to the public except during the winter months to allow for breeding. Regular ferry rides take you to Penguin Island as well as Seal island .
SEAL ISLAND - is where you will always find sea lions lazing around. Dolphins can often be seen swimming in the Bay.
WINDSURFING - Around the corner in Safety Bay come and try out the best spot for windsurfing known as the POND, There are hire and learning facilities on the foreshore as well.
MOTORPLEX KWINANA - for the car racing enthusiasts, Motorplex Kwinana is only 15 minutes by car away.
ROCKINGHAM GOLF CLUB -is just 5 minutes away by car. A public access golf course and nearby driving range.

Due to being in an private townhouse complex we expect our guests to respect all neighbouring occupants and conduct themselves in a quiet, private manner. We ask that all rubbish is removed on departure and anything damaged or broken is paid for priced inventory available on site.

- Be respectful by keeping the townhouse clean and tidy at all times. Please remember the townhouse is not a hotel, but our home I have kindly made available to you during your stay so please treat it as such by returning the townhouse in the same condition as you receive it.
- Strictly no smoking inside the house
- No illegal drug use Any evidence of illegal drug use will result in Police being notified and full forfeiture of the security bond.
- Please respect the neighbours, especially with only parking in the allocated garage and noise level at night after 10pm.
- Please be discreet during your stay.
- Though we have cleaners after each guest, we kindly ask you clean and put away any used dishes/kitchenware in the sink and dirty towels in the laundry. It helps speed up the cleaning process and keeps cleaning costs down for you and future guests.
- Please provide your approximate check in/check out times ASAP to assist with planning. If possible, we can work around it with no extra fee.
- House is to be secured when not occupied, windows shut, alarm turned on which includes upon check out.
- Double garage for parking if additional cars, park in front verge not in front of garage blocking neighbour access to driveway.
- Please ensure everything is switched OFF whenever leaving the house, especially air conditioning/heating/light to conserve energy.
