Electricity: Power is expensive in Perth. Kindly avoid long hot showers, switch off lights and electrical appliances when not in use or leaving the house.
House Safety: Turn off all cooking appliances when not in use. No candles.
Ventilation for the Western Australia climate:
Exhaust fans – turn on exhaust fans when having showers and/or cooking to prevent moisture and moulds growing on the wall and ceiling.
Ducted evaporative cooler – the cooler has been set to manual Man and cool to provide efficient cooling. Please DO NOT change settings. Just press the on/off button as it has been set for optimum temperature and fan speed.
Importantly for air flow, leave a gap at the window, or leave front door ajar with security door locked.
Being a clean space:
Please respect the unit and what's available for use inside and outside of the property. Whilst we do a thorough clean between each guest stay, we kindly ask that prior to leaving, you clean and put away any dishes or kitchenware used and put any dirty towels in the hamper. Kindly clear the rubbish bin after meals and litter around the unit. It helps us get through our cleaning process quicker and allows us to keep cleaning costs down for you and future guests.
Noise: To be considerate to our neighbours, we kindly ask to keep things on the quieter-side after 9pm. And if you want to listen to music, please lower the volume or enjoy via headphones.
No Smoking Policy: Being a family home, we have a no smoking policy inside the unit. However, you can smoke near the driveway and no littering of cigarettes butts.
We understand that accidents happen. But we do ask that you please let us know when they do. Chances are we can fix them as effortlessly as possible which also means better chances of having your full security deposit returned too.
We understand that for a whole variety of reasons, you may want additional guests to stay at the place. In the event that you want additional guests to stay, please let us know. The flat can fit 2 more people for $10 per person per night.
Please let us know your time of arrival time and we will definitely try our best to meet you there. If we are unable to meet you there we will give you detailed instructions how to enter the place. The hosts are computer savvy with Stayz app and mobile/cell phone. Hosts work full time and will meet guests during their stay. If unable to greet first time, hosts have strategies put in place to meet and access via self checkin key safe.
