Laurance Reef is a fully renovated 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom home set up for holiday use ensuring comfort for both the hot summer and cold winter months.
Situated just 200 metres from Yanchep Beach, Laurance Reef takes its name from the reef that the home overlooks directly to the West. Laurance Reef is built on a 940sqm block at the top of a cul-de-sac and is surrounded at the rear by natural bush reserve.
Yanchep Beach is accessed at the bottom of the street via a paved path leading directly onto the beach. In summer, the beach has its own lagoon, clean sand and pristine water with fantastic swimming, snorkelling, fishing and surfing on offer.
The famous Yanchep Lagoon is situated a short walk 700m up the beach and has a life saving service throughout the summer months.
The house has a well equipped kitchen and the living areas provide an atmosphere of spaciousness and relaxation.
The kitchen, dining and also the lounge area has reverse cycle air conditioning to provide comfort all year round.
A large LED TV, connected to a Telstra box that provides access to internet, iView and Netflix is provided for your digital entertainment as well as a compact Hi-Fi system.
The kitchen is fully equipped with electric stove/oven, microwave, dishwasher and all crockery, glassware etc
Laurance Reef has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms plus a hot water shower outdoors for rinsing off when coming back from the beach. All bedrooms have an ocean view.
Two bedrooms have queen size beds with the third bedroom having two king single beds. The master bedroom is serviced with an ensuite.
The laundry is equipped with a modern washing machine, iron, ironing board etc.
Blankets, clean linen, pillows and towels are provided.
Please note: an additional $50 fee per stay is applicable to cover laundering service. Linen changed weekly for bookings over one week at no extra cost.
The front veranda area is paved and covered by louvers that can be adjusted to allow varying amounts of sunlight, depending on the time of day or time of year. The veranda looks out over the landscaped front garden with the Indian Ocean forming the back drop to a beautiful sea view. A wonderful place to relax and catch the sea breeze off the ocean on a summer evening.
The rear outdoor area is fully paved with a mobile gas barbecue, outdoor table and chairs.
Behind the rear outdoor area is a path way that leads into the natural bush recreation reserve Anchors Reserve with a short 100-metre walk onto the picturesque Oldham Park.
Yanchep is situated only 45 mins by car north west of Perth. The region is home to beautiful pristine beaches, natural bushland, a community of inspired artists, and the famous award winning Yanchep National Park as well as being steeped in history. Yanchep is also the gateway to the new Indian Ocean Drive which is a popular tourist drive that takes you on a colour-filled road trip to the town of Geraldton at the northern terminus. The drive provides visitors with the best view of the largest collection of wildflowers on Earth, beautiful turquoise beaches and one of Australia’s most unique landscapes – the Pinnacles Desert.

Bring a picnic or make use of one of the many free barbecues overlooking the lake and nestled in the tuart and banksia woodlands.
Visit the koalas
Stroll along the 240-metre koala boardwalk to view one of Australia’s favourite native animals in a natural environment and learn more about these fascinating creatures.
Spot the western grey kangaroo
Yanchep National Park is home to western grey kangaroos which can be seen in abundance early and late in the day. At other times they shelter from the sun so you might be lucky enough to see them resting in shady areas.

THE YANCHEP LAGOON
The Yanchep Lagoon is a truly wonderful natural lagoon that is patrolled by the local surf club throughout the summer months. The beach immediately to the south of the Lagoon is called Fishermans Hollow and is the perfect beach for young children to learn to swim and snorkel in a shallow reef pool. Further south again is the Yanchep Dog Beach that offers some fantastic fishing and surfing locations and is also a beautiful beach for your dogs to take a swim or walk.
TWO ROCKS MARINA
The Two Rocks Marina has a boat ramp to launch your weekend fishing trip, while sailing this part of the ocean you are never out of sight from ‘King Neptune’, a giant Limestone sculpture who has been a landmark for many years from both the ocean and the land. There is also a collection of other limestone sculptures scattered around the Two Rocks Shopping Centre depicting various subjects. From ‘Locals’ at the South end of the Yanchep Dog Beach through to ‘Derrs’, about 1.5 kilometres north of Two Rocks, the coastline between Yanchep and Two Rocks offers a range of surf breaks that are suitable for both beginners and experienced surfers. The best time of the year is generally late Autumn through to early Spring, however good waves can be surfed through the summer months depending on weather and swell conditions.
