We would like to welcome you to our family friendly holiday house situated less than 100m from the beautiful sandy beaches of Abbey. Whether you are looking for a relaxing holiday lazing on the beach, swimming in the tranquil crystal clear waters, a spot of beach fishing and a picnic as the sun sets over the ocean, or maybe a nearby place to launch the boat at the popular Abbey Boat ramp, this is the spot for you. Keen cyclists bring your bikes and go for a leisurely ride along the bicycle path that winds along the beach 10km to Busselton or 18km in the other direction to Dunsborough.
Within a 10 minute drive, you can be in the heart of Busselton where you can visit the famous Busselton jetty and underwater observatory, enjoy the atmosphere of the recently upgraded foreshore redevelopment, play golf, tennis or check out the extensive range of shops. In just 20 minutes, you can reach Western Australia's premier Margaret River region, with its world renowned wineries, boutique breweries, art galleries, cheese factories, chocolate factories, and some of the best surf beaches in the state.
If you would prefer to relax at home, you can enjoy a BBQ in our spacious back garden, there are plenty of board games, jigsaws and books to enjoy, or bring your favourite movies to play on DVD or USB. The house is only a short walk to the local Fish and Chip shop, Hodge Podge cafe and bottleshop.
Ideally set up for 1 to 2 families the house comfortably sleeps 6 people in 3 bedrooms, has 2 large living rooms, a simply equipped kitchen for preparing basic meals, and an expandable dining table that seats 10, as well as a BBQ on the patio out the back. Each living room has a sofa bed that can be used for for extra guests. There is plenty of parking in the driveway for cars and a boat.
Our house is set up as follows:
Bedroom 1 - Double bed, bunk bed and wardrobe ( and fold up portacot)
Bedroom 2 - Queen size bed and wardrobe
Bedroom 3 - Two single beds
Bathroom - Vanity & shower over bath.
Laundry - Equipped with washing machine, dryer, ironing board & iron.
Separate toilet off the laundry
Kitchen - Equipped with fridge freezer, microwave, dishwasher, induction cooktop and oven. Nescafe Dolce Gusto pod coffee machine and coffee plunger.
Dinning Area - dinning table expandable to seat 10 people (and high chair)
Rear Living Area - 5 seater corner lounge with double fold out bed, 3 seater couch and 2 seater couch. 50" LCD TV / DVD & selection of movies. Book unit & large coffee table.
Front Living Area - 2 x 2 seater couches, one of which has a double fold out bed
Rear Verandah - Outdoor setting and 4 burner gas BBQ
Doonas and Pillows are provided, whilst bed linen and towels can be made available by prior arrangement at an additional charge.
Small to medium dogs are welcome by prior arrangement provided they are kept outside the house, where there is spacious back yard for them to use and an ample undercover area for them to sleep, and provided any mess is cleaned up prior to vacating.
No smoking is permitted on the premises.
Late check-outs can be made available by prior arrangement during non peak periods and when there are no immediately following bookings.
