Three Gables Homestead is a beautiful two story 5 bedroom short stay home situated on 10 acres of rural land in Wonnerup - the gateway to Western Australia's south west wine region. With views overlooking two dams and the Vasse/Wonnerup estuary, and surrounded by properties with horses, cattle and sheep, Three Gables is very much a “get away from it all” escape just over a little more than a two hour drive from Perth and less than 10 minutes from Busselton. It is suitable for both winter and summer escapes. Port Geographe Marina is less than 5 minutes away.
The Vasse/Wonnerup Estuary and Wetlands is recognised by the Ramsar Convention as "Wetlands of International Importance" and provides feeding grounds for over 20,000 birds. The views of the estuary and wildlife from Three Gables provide amazing opportunities for bird watchers, artists and those just wanting to escape to nature.
With 5 bedrooms configured for sleeping up to 14 guests, Three Gables will easily accommodate 2 large or three smaller families wanting to stay together.
Open spaced living area on ground floor includes large wooden dining table situated between large, well equipped gourmet kitchen and lounge area with large flat screen TV serves as the “heart of the home” and provides sweeping views of the property and the Vasse/Wonnerup Estuary. Wooden floors give the downstairs a spacious, contemporary feel.
An additional TV/lounge room with flat screen TV and games consoles on ground floor serves as a separate room for children to watch TV, movies and play games away from adults.
The large, modern gourmet kitchen is well equipped with Nespresso coffee machine BYO pods, dishwasher, microwave, a large walk in pantry and plenty of kitchenware, crockery and appliances to meet the most eager of home chef’s needs. You won't need to bring anything from home

The downstairs of the property is equipped with A/C and all bedrooms have ceiling fans for summer.
Outdoors, there is plenty of parking space for cars and boats, and the house is surrounded by lawn. Three Gables is also equipped with a BBQ and outdoor tables and seating around the house to enjoy the views with a wine or cup of tea alfresco.
Three Gables also has its own private rural/rustic three hole golf course on the property available for guest use. BYO clubs or you are welcome to use our “rustic” guest club sets. BYO golf balls.
We welcome well behaved dogs to the property but do have some stringent but reasonable conditions in regards to their stay. There is also an additional and refundable Pet Bond applicable. Maximum 2 dogs per stay.
Please note that Three Gables is a RURAL residential property which has two open, non-fenced dams on acreage, within easy walking distance from the house and which may not be suitable for families with very young children.
Being a rural property this also means an abundance of Australian wildlife so look out for kangaroos, rabbits, frogs and plentiful birdlife such as ducks, ibis, galahs, cockatoos pelicans etc as well as other less welcome visitors from time to time.
The property is 1km from Wonnerup Beach which is suitable for swimming, fishing and 4wding. Port Geographe Marina a mere 2.5km away and Busselton town centre less than a 10 minute drive.
Strictly non-smoking inside house at all times.
Maximum Occupancy is 14 people.
Rates and Fees
Minimum stay is 2 nights.
Minimum stay 5 nights Easter and school holidays.
Min 5-7 night stay over Xmas New Year period and January school hols.
BYO bath towels and beach towels. Towels available at additional charge.
Bath mats, hand towels and tea towels provided.
A deposit is required as confirmation of your booking – equivalent to the first night’s accommodation rate. Payment of tariff in full is required 14 days prior to arrival date.
There is also a $750 bond payable prior to all arrivals. The bond is paid back by direct debit within 2 days of leaving, or by other arrangements with owners.
Last minute discounts do not apply to special offers.
Notification of cancellation must be recieved at least 45 days prior to your booking.
Every endeavour is made to re book the time cancelled, but if this is not possible your deposit will be forfeited.
If the time is re-booked by another client, your deposit is refunded in full less a $75 cancellation fee.
If the new booking rate falls under a more expensive booking period, additional charges will need to be applied.
