Sandpiper Cottage is located in the prestigious south west corner of Western Australia. It is in close proximity to a diverse range of environments and activities for all age groups.
It is a fully registered holiday home with the City of Busselton and accommodates six people.
Sandpiper Cottage is situated on a large corner block with a view to a park and is just a 350 metre stroll to the beach and a minute’s drive to town for shopping, coffee or a meal out. Busselton's iconic jetty is within easy walking distance and a walking/cycling pathway is situated near the beachfront.
Located in Geographe, a suburb of Busselton, the cottage has proximity to a range of entertainment possibilities such as fishing, Sunday markets in the park, galleries, a huge skate park, theatres, concerts, a golf course, eateries, hotels, BBQ facilities on the foreshore, water parks, nature sanctuaries and many festivals throughout the year. Many visitors enjoy cycling around the designated paths that extend throughout the town. A twenty to thirty minute drive will take you to wineries, caves or pristine swimming and surfing beaches which are famous around the world.
Furthermore, did you know that Busselton is acclaimed as the Events Capital of Regional Western Australia with people coming from all over Western Australia, interstate and indeed the world for many of the events that are staged in and around this historical town.
Some of the events are held in Busselton throughout the course of the year include the Ironman Triathlon Western Australia, Southbound Concert, Festival of Busselton, Festival of Triathlon, Busselton Jetty Swim, LiveLighter Busselton, the Fringe Festival, Busselton Agricultural Show and the Forest Rally to name a few. Many more cultural events are held in and around the town which attracts internally renowned art, culinary and musical celebrities. These events include the Margaret River Gourmet Escape, Southbound and the Leewin Estate Winery Concert Series.
Sandpiper Cottage allows guest to access the whole house and front and backyard with exception of the shed and the linen cupboard. Pets are very welcome at Sandpiper Cottage and are allowed inside. However, we would really appreciate that they sleep on their own beds/rugs rather than the soft furnishings.
In addition to this the backyard is conveniently enclosed. It is also requested that smokers confine their activity to outdoors.
Guest will be able to phone us during their stay regarding any uncertainties or if unforeseen circumstances arise.
There are two parking areas for guests and if you are lucky enough to have a boat there's space for that too.
The property is on a public transport route and a bus service is available although visitors are urged to check the Busselton Bus Service for frequency.
Busselton also has a taxi service.The landscape in and around Busselton is quite flat so walking and cycling are common past-times.
The cottage consists of 3 bedrooms, combined living and dining area, kitchen, bathroom, toilet and laundry.

Living room: Three and two seater beige leather lounges, large beige micro-suede recliner, coffee table, lamp, split system air-conditioner, ceiling fan, TV and DVD player
Dining room: Dining table and six chairs, baby high chair
Kitchen: Fridge/freezer, Combined Cooktop and Oven, Microwave and most standard kitchen items
Laundry: Washing machine, ironing board and iron
Bathroom: Bath, shower and vanity
Backyard: Outdoor table and six chairs
Front Veranda: Round table and two chairs
Parking: There are two parking bays at the front of the house

Additional advantages of Sandpiper Cottage include a family size fridge, large bedrooms, high ceilings and lots of grassed and shaded areas in which to relax. Dining outside under stunning peppermint trees is always popular especially after a day at the beach and when the cool ocean breeze has arrived in.
Visitors are required to bring their own sheets, pillow cases and towels. In the event that these items are forgotten linen is available from our caretaker. This is an extra charge.
Alternatively, if you are visiting from overseas and require linen for your stay please contact us ahead of time and we will ensure this is available to you. This service incurs an extra charge.
