Feel yourself unwind the minute you arrive at this gorgeous retro early 70's beach house. Crispy cool in summer or toasty warm in winter this fully air-conditioned home invites families, couples or sporting competitors all year round. With all the comforts of home and loads of space in the garage or in the fully enclosed lawned backyard for kids, scooters, bikes, paddle boards or your boat - you can experience the space and freedom of WA's big back yard.
The house sleeps six people with two super comfortable queen size beds and roomy wardrobes. The third bedroom sleeps two kids or adults in two king single beds. Push them together for a third couple. The bathroom is spacious with a bath and separate shower. A washing machine is provided and undercover laundry hanging space is also situated in the garage.
The cute kitchen is fully self contained with everything you need for cooking for six, including microwave oven, medium sized fridge/freezer and an excellent gas stove/oven for a winter roast or just turn on the slow cooker whilst you watch a movie at the local cinema. Run out of supplies? The local IGA supermarket, liquor outlet and fish & chip shop is just a five minute drive away.
Participating in one of Busselton's many sporting events? Just park your bikes and kayaks in the secure garage. Shower off under the outdoor shower then hang your towels and wetties on the good old Hills Hoist to dry, then cook up a protein feast on the large outdoor gas BBQ.
An easy 200m walk takes you onto the beach where you can walk or ride your bike 2.5km to the iconic Busselton jetty. Here you can have a coffee or drink at any of the many beachside cafes, Sunday markets or bars. Watch the glorious sunset slide into the ocean here with a glass of bubbles or turn right from the beach and head towards Port Geographe Marina for dinner and drinks at The Deck Bar and Restaurant. Bring your fishing rods along or there's TV, cards, games, books and magazines here for your enjoyment.
Take the tourist train to the end of the jetty and be delighted when you descend to the sea floor in our world famous underwater observatory. A guide will lead you through the natural wonders that lie beneath the jetty where its piles create Australia’s greatest artificial reef, host to an awe inspiring “forest” of vividly-coloured tropical and sub-tropical corals, sponges, fish and invertebrates. Whale watching tours also operate from the jetty during September to December.
If you love to wine, dine and wander then venture just 20kms out towards picturesque Cape Naturaliste via Dunsborough to experience beautiful swimming beaches, trendy cafes, galleries and great shopping. Finally be sure to sample world renowned Margaret River wines with a wine tour of the region; most cellar doors are less than an hour's drive away. Geographe Bay Beach House is the place to getaway at the gateway to Margaret River.
