Make our home your base, the Valley is a very popular area for serious cyclists to ride. Many do the circuit: Ferguson-Donnybrook-Boyanup-Dardanup-Ferguson~3 hrs 45 mins or 61.5kms but make no mistake there are some quite steep hills Or an easier ride into Bunbury 4 hrs or 72 kms round trip Dardanup is a 2hr or 35km round trip. There are endless options with mountain-biking trails nearby too. The list is long in terms of places to visit and things to do: Gnomesville - a quirky and amusing place filled with gnomes and wit. Collie River - take a picnic and bring your kayaks or canoes. Honeymoon pool is here. Wellington dam is great for skiing if you have a boat & have a BYO BBQ whilst you are there King tree - you will be privileged indeed to meet this wise old man of the bush Bibulmin Track is nearby and Crooked Brook has a range of trails and a very nice BBQ area. Bunbury offers the Dolphin Discovery Centre, Koombana Bay sailing, Leschenalt Inlet for sunset walks, kayaking or canoeing, King Cottage Museum, Regional Art Gallery, Marlston Hill lookout and Lighthouse, Big Swamp Wildlife Park, Mangrove Board Walk, Hungry Hollows, Dalyellup and Back Beaches There are coffee shops and antiques/bric a brak in Donnybrook & Boyanup and fresh gourmet take-aways at the Dardanup Store as well as a bakery. St Aiden's and Moody cow are also open on Ferguson road later in the week with a range of their wines and boutique beers to sample and delicious lunches and tempting snacks in a relaxed and peaceful setting. St Aiden's also holds open air movies during the summer months you can order a picnic or BYO. Just a little way up Pile road you will find gourmet pizzas at Ferguson Falls cafe and further on Wild Bull Brewery with a range of gourmet beers to sample as well. When you turn for home you will be spoiled with spectacular views towards Bunbury and the sparkling ocean beyond.
