Clews Cottage is perfectly located for families looking for a reasonably priced, relaxed holiday in the Margaret River region. Clews Cottage is situated in the beach side hamlet of Gracetown, close to the Cape to Cape Walk and is an ideal stopover for weary walkers. A deck at the front allows visitors to catch ocean glimpses as they enjoy the sunset with a local wine and tasty treats from the days' adventures. In the winter months a wood fire warms the home. We hope that you enjoy your stay in our grandparents's home and that you will care for it as we do. It is not fancy but it is a comfortable home to build fond holiday memories.
We have been working hard to modernise the cottage without losing too much of its charm. The cottage sleeps up to 7 (4 adults and 3 children) with 2 x Queen Beds and 3 x singles. The fully equipped kitchen with microwave and fridge is complemented by an external gas BBQ and front loading washing machine. The home is NON SMOKING and NO PETS PLEASE.
All beds have pillows and doonas but you will need to supply your own sheets, pillow cases and towels or contact owner for hire rates.
Please note that there is no wifi available.
If you wish to use the wood fire, please bring your own wood.
Close to Wineries
Gracetown is right in the middle of the Margaret River Wine Region and this cottage is the perfect spot to come home to after a day of wining and dining. Head north to the Yallingup, Dunsborough or Busselton. Head south to Margaret River or east to the township of Cowaramup. All towns are within a 30-45 minute drive through picturesque landscape.
Surf of Snorkel
The renowned South Point and Huzza's surf breaks are right at your front door. If the surf isn't running then the crayfish might be! Great surfing and snorkelling areas only 300m from the front door.
Cape to Cape
We are right there, before of after you tackle the Ellenbrook to Gracetown track! Perfect spot to stop over. We can even arrange for you to drop off some supplies so that they are there when you get there.
