We have just returned from a fantastic stay at The Honeyeater. The location is brilliant and the garden was a huge big plus for our children. The alfresco is enormous and we spent most of our time in there or in the garden. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. The only negative for us was that we had no music. There was a CD radio there but we had no CD's with us and the radio wouldn't work. It would be great to have some sort of docking station that allows you to play music from an iPod or phone. Overall though it was a great place to stay and we hope to visit again.
We had a wonderful holiday between Christmas and New Year in the Honeyeater. The location was fantastic situated between the beach and the town providing great privacy, but close to everything. Every room, including bathrooms and laundry were spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was equipped with everything you'd need and the outside living area was huge with lots of comfortable seating.
Everyone appreciated the cubby, swings, visiting kangaroos and blue wrens. We spent alot of time playing with frisbees on the large back lawn, and while we appreciate the water restrictions, it would have been great if there'd been a green patch there.
