--The cottage is fully self-contained, with a well-equipped kitchen opening onto a comfortably furnished dining/lounge area, and three bedrooms each with two King Singles, accommodating up to 6 adults; or, alternatively, 3 KING SIZE BEDS CAN BE MADE UP FOR 3 COUPLES.
--This property is more like an adult retreat, rather than a family holiday home; the bungalow is well suited to couples, groups of up to six people, which may include infants up to 12 months or children 15 years or older. Due to the nature of the property, with high retaining walls and multi-level landscaping, it is not suitable for children under 15 years old.

INTERACTION WITH GUESTS
--Upon arrival we are happy to provide recommendations for places to eat, shop, and explore, or to give directions if required. Beyond that, we place a high value on privacy for our guests and for ourselves.
--Once we have welcomed you, checked you into the cottage, and made sure you have everything you need, you are free to come and go without further interaction with your hosts.
--In the event of a late arrival arrangements can be made to leave a key and directions to the cottage in a locked key safe. In this case we may arrange to meet you in the morning to ensure you have everything you need.
--There are clearly marked boundaries, with the rear of the property made available for the use of guests, and the front of the property reserved for the exclusive use of the owners, who reside here full time.
--Having said that, of course we are available if needed in an emergency, or if anything needs special attention during your stay.
--There is always someone residing in the main house to ensure that the property is well-managed and that our guests are properly looked after.
--Yalgardup Creek is named after the winter creek which lies at the bottom of the valley about 100 metres from the front gate; the creek flows for several months of the year from August to October, depending on the annual rainfall.
--There is abundant bird life year round, including parrots, cockatoos, wrens, magpies and hawks circling overhead. Ducks and waterfowl may be seen on the nearby natural wetland pond in winter.
--Margaret River is serviced by buses running daily to and from Perth, and by private plane.
--There is no public transport in Margaret River as such, although there are several taxi operators in town.

However, if you put your mobile phone on the window sill and set it up as a mobile hotspot (or use a portable wireless modem) there is usually sufficient coverage to use your computer and receive emails etc.
--The unit is self-serviced; for stays of longer than one week, fresh linens and towels will be provided on a weekly basis.

--Check-in is after 2pm, and check-out at 11am. These times may be varied by prior arrangement.
