Dempster Cottage is a beautifully 1836 stone cottage situated in the delightful Avon Valley on the Buckland Estate where the historical Homestead Property was established in 1836 which makes it one of the oldest properties in WA. One hour and ten minutes from the domestic and international airports and one hour and thirty minutes from Perth CBD. Ten minutes to the locally historic town of Northam and twenty minutes to the delightful historic town of Toodyay. Just sit back and relax next to the cosy fireplace or outside under the veranda with beautiful scenic views, green farmland with grazing horses.
Dempster Cottage is completely self contained, just bring your own food or enjoy a few local restaurants in historic towns of Toodyay and Northam. The cottage being situated in the Avon Valley has much on offer within the area Hot Air Ballooning from April until late November, the Avon Ascent York and Beverley, the local Coorinja Winery, Noble Falls winery and restaurant with entertainment every Sunday evening. The cottage being situated in this beautiful historic location in the Avon Valley will give you a wonderful relaxing holiday to enjoy
