We drove down in the evening and arrived in the dark.
The house (an old school classroom for the living space).was really nice. Well appointed, with two large bedrooms.
We woke up to spectacular views in three directions to different mountains.
Hikes at Mount Barney are only 15 minutes away so we did Lower Portals one day and had a chilly but lovely swim in the gorge.
The next day we drove a little further the Queen Mary Falls and Daggs Falls.
So many interesting things to explore around the property. A lot of history that would be good to learn more about.
Cows pass up the road in the afternoon heading to be milked.
We enjoyed cheeseboards and wine watching the beautiful sunsets.
