We were given a very warm welcome by Eligio and lovely Sara on arrival and then a detailed explanation of the workings of the accomodation. The trulli is equipped with top quality crockery and linen which we have found in our travels is not always the case. The owner has paid particular attention to providing everything required for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. A huge bowl of fruit, wine, pasta and cheese awaited our arrival. During our stay Eligio checked in with us regularly by text to ensure that we were comfortable and asked if he could assist in any way. On our last night Eligio and Sara asked if they may visit and to say goodbye. The sweets and presents that they offered to us on departure were gourmet delicacies and very much enjoyed and appreciated. The hospitality was top class and unmatched and we are left with wonderful memories of this stay.

From the warm welcome, the fresh produce on arrival, and the villa itself, this was one of the highlights of our trip to Europe. A very special thanks to our hosts for their assistance with planning trips and organising transport, which added to the relaxed experience we had on their amazing property. Our 2 young children loved the pool and collecting eggs from the chickens, and the locally produced wine available for purchase was delicious 😋 Highly recommended, would not hesitate to stay again! ☺️

Unique stay in a traditional Trullo style house; plenty of room, with style and character. A spacious kitchen and a nice sized pool. Situated about easy 10min drive from Ceglie Messapica town along a quite narrow but reasonably good road. A good base location to visit some of the towns in Val D’Itra

We spent three glorious weeks of September in Casale dell’Oliveto villa and loved it. Angela and Lawrence made every effort to make sure our stay was enjoyable and met our expectations. Ottavio, the house manager, and his son were always available to offer all sorts of hints and tips as well as sort out any problems we may have had and their knowledge of the region was second to none. The friendliness shown to us by all of the locals reflected the easy calm lifestyle of the Puglia farm region and made us feel very welcome. This is a country residence so a car is essential to explore the many wonders of the Puglia region. Of course you may prefer to simply prop around the very large pool and bask under that fabulous Puglia sunshine in the most beautiful of surrounds. The décor of the house is stunning and is a credit to the owners. So much of the enjoyment comes from the beauty that has been created in this country haven. We do not hesitate to recommend this villa for a true Puglia Country experience.

We spent 9 days in Roberto''s wonderful trullo. The trullo is beautifully renovated and finished. We enjoyed the lovely garden and pool. We also took advantage of the walking/biking track along the aqueduct - situated just outside the side gate. The trullo is very centrally situated to visit the many villages of the area - Cisternino, Locorotondo, Alberobello, Ostuni, etc. There is a mini market close by that stocks most things that you would need. Roberto was very easy to deal with and very prompt in answering any questions that we had. We had a very relaxing and enjoyable time. Thank you.
