Satisfactory
We stayed there for two weeks this past Christmas (2022). House was ok. Met our needs. Location fine. Only thing was that the thermostat would not stay where we put it. It was programmed weird. It would drop down to 70F or below at night. Also change temperatures during day. IT would not stay at temperature we wanted it at. Got cold at night because of this.

Pretty good!
The neighbors' dogs were barking well into the night i finally got up at 1130 and asked them to bring them inside bc i had to be up at 630 for an audition that morning and so i needed to be rested for that and the neighbors got super defensive and thought i knew the owner personally and that we were just conspiring against them? Hahaha that was super weird. Communication with the owner takes quite a bit of time because i messaged asking some questions about the location beforehand and it took a couple of days for a response and then when i had the issue with the doggies barking he didn't respond until about 3 in the afternoon the next day. (I messaged around 1030pm the night before when the dogs woke me up with their barking) so that was disappointing but at least we didn't have anything too pressing happen.

Host profile image
Hi !! My name is Victor. I've been managing my own rental properties for more than 4 years now. I always do my best for you to have a superb stay! I've truly enjoyed sharing my home(s) and connecting with people from all over the U.S. and the world. I do believe in trusting people, and opening up our living spaces

I am also an avid traveler, having spent significant time in most major cities all over the U.S. during the last 9 years!
I've also spent time overseas, visited Cuba, South America, Europe, all over Mexico, and I just got back from a month long trip in Southeast Asia!

I love art, photography, cycling, reading, good food & great beer. I am an entrepreneur, and consultant for a federal government contractor. I am very involved in my community, and I strive to make El Paso a better city.

I've refurbished spaces that keep the character of the home. This house in particular is from 1949. I couldn't just make it brand new. I had to refurbished and keep what made this house unique when it was first built.

Why they chose this property

I bought this property because it has a lot of character. When I first bought it, but I knew that it had a lot of potential. I think the layout works great, and the size of it is perfect.
We are used to having much larger homes, but this house allows you to experience the potential of living in a space that is under 900 sq ft.

What makes this property unique

I love the neighborhood that I live in. I actually live 5 minutes away from this house, just up the street on Fort Blvd. There are a lot mom and pop stores still around, and all the amenities that you would want from a neighborhood are within 10 minutes.
