Ille-sur-tet is a friendly Catalan village between the Mediterranean sea and the Pyrenees mountains. There are several bakeries, restaurants, food stores and twice a week there is a market in one of the squares

-5 minutes to Orgues dílle Sur-Tet, a rock formation, shapes of organ pipes (12 meters high)
- 30 minutes to the beaches at the Mediterranean sea.
-10 minutes to Vinca a lake with a beach and restaurant.
-15 minutes to the nearest vineyard
-Several hiking trails in the area.
-50 minutes to ski resorts in winter time and mountian biking in the spring, summer and autumn.
-30 minutes to hot springs
-20 minutes to Perpignan
-20 minutes to Villefranche-de-Conflent a medivel fortified Town- listed as a World Heritage site by the UNESCO
