Open plan living space.
Living area: With 48" Smart TV.
Dining area.
Kitchen area: Galley style with electric oven, electric hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine.
First Floor:
Bedroom: With kingsize bed and en-suite with bath, shower cubicle, toilet and heated towel rail.. Gas central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Welcome pack.. Patio with garden furniture. Large garden with garden furniture (shared with other properties on-site). Private parking for 1 car. No smoking.. Once the grand garden for the Governor of Berwick Garrison, in the heart of the town’s conservation area and bounded by Elizabethan ramparts, this bright, terraced apartment is within a sensitive development where care has been taken to compliment the historic surroundings. The open plan living area is light and comfortable, while the first floor bedroom is spacious with an en-suite bathroom with both bath and shower cubicle.
There is a good range of eating places, characterful pubs and a varied range of shops all just a few minutes’ walk. Take an exploratory walk around the Ramparts, taking in some wonderful views over the harbour towards Berwick’s iconic railway bridge. Discover fishing villages up and down the coast, including St Abbs, with its tiny working harbour and National Nature Reserve along the spectacular cliffs, and Bamburgh, with its wonderful castle and fabulous sandy beaches. Good walking and cycling can be found along the Berwickshire Coastal Path or up into the Cheviot Hills. Boat trips on the river can be taken from the harbour or from Seahouses to the Farne Islands. Inland, discover the lovely Borders region. Beach 1½ miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 250 yards.
