Why Claudia Bacchi chose Venice-Murano-Burano
It was the apartment in which my husband lived before marriage.
What makes this Apartment unique
It 's very bright and very close to Piazza San Marco and the Biennale Gardens. In the morning and in the evening, you can watch the magnificent spectacle of sunrise and sunset along the Riva degli Schiavoni, with the sun rising from the east and sets in the west reflecting on the water of the lagoon.

A super location near a Boat Bus.
The negative part of the apartment is 4 flights of steps and my bags were very heavy. If you come here pack LIGHT. The apartment was in a great location with restaurants all around, a butcher shop and a very small market for sodas, packaged items, and beer. The beds were comfortable, it was very clean, and furnished with what we needed. We enjoyed our 10 day stay. I had no trouble finding the location.
The location was excellent. Close enough to walk where we wanted and just far enough off the beaten path to be near inexpensive restaurants. There were several nice restaurants within a block.
The apartment was immaculate, but a bit dated. Air conditioning was in main hall which means the bedroom door can’t be closed at night. Also, one roll of toilet paper provided so plan ahead.
The ARSENALE vaporretto stop is only a couple blocks away.
Excellent value for the price!
Weeks in Venice
We had everything we needed and the location was great. The owner was so helpful and kind. This place made our weeks here that much better.
This apartment is great. We really enjoyed our stay. It's large, well equipped and the area is very close to San Marco squire, an yet very authentic.
Great flat, nice location
The apartment was great and has all the essentials for a month-long stay in Venice. It’s bright and spacious which is important if you’re there in October. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is reasonably equipped for four people and there’s plenty of hot water. The location is brilliant, it is right next door to the Arsenale. There are plenty of good restaurants and bars within a short walk. Claudia provided us with loads of information about the local area, including supermarkets and vegetable stalls. We had a wonderful time and would be more than happy to return.
Venice apartment - Super clean, wonderful location, spacious, and well equipped kitchen
We really enjoyed staying at this property. It is on the 4th floor so be prepared to get some stair-stepping exercise. It was very clean, large for a European apartment, in a great location, and had a well-equipped kitchen. There are a few problems that kept it from being a 5 star apartment. We were staying for 10 days so expected that certain items would be supplied - only one roll of toilet paper, no dish soap, no clothes soap, no sheets on the twin bed in the second bedroom, and the pillows on both need to be replaced. The second bedroom had one bed and then in the living room there was a foldup bed which served as an hassock. Putting that in the second bedroom would have been tight, but possible. It was noisy the first couple nights (we used our earplugs) because of the restaurants below the apartment and some arguing couple in the adjourning building. On the positive side it is close to a fantastic restaurant, Fantasia, and a wonderful bakery. A small grocery is near, and the larger grocery, although hard to find initially was excellent. It is very close to the Arsenale vaporetto stop, but off the main tourist area with two quiet campos near. Air conditioning worked well and was needed the first couple days we were there the end of Sept. The owner is not on site which was not a problem as she had someone a few doors down give us the keys. The owner was not responsive to e-mails we sent through the Homeaway site asking questions several weeks before our trip. We finally had to call her and her English on the phone was limited. She did not answer an e-mail I sent in reply to the large informational sheet she finally did send by e-mail. I would have liked better communication with her earlier in the planning stage of our trip.
I would recommend this to one couple and maybe a couple with one child. How can anyone complain about the opportunity to spend 10 days in Venice? JC in Santa Fe, NM
Central but quiet, because in a street outside the noisy of domestic tourists, the apartment is located in one of the oldest area of Venice, where you meet venetians more than tourists. If you walk along Riva degli Schiavoni, fantastic when the lagoon is illuminated by the morning sun, and go to the Gardens of the Biennale, encounters the picturesque Via Garibaldi, very Venetian and unknown to the mass tourism, , which is typical for its restorants, its local market and the oldest fish shops. I advise you to have breakfast there in one of its many cafes. However, if you go to Piazza San Marco (you reach really in 10 minutes), you immerse yourself in the best-known Venice which needs no introduction. If you try an alternative way to visit the city, you can miss you inside the labyrinth of quiet and peaceful calli (streets) wandering aimlessly: every corner reserves a surprise. If you fear this adventurous lightness, you can follow your guide. Fortunately, no guide will protect you from the possibility of losing you, and if it happens, you should support it.
