Spacious family home in Bergen

For nature lovers, peace seekers and beach fans.
Our bright, spacious family home is located in a quiet area of ​​Bergen. A master bedroom with a double bed and two children's rooms, 1 pretty small, with a loft bed; the other bigger. Both beds are 90x200. The kitchen is equipped with oven and induction cooker, blender, dishwasher and kettle. Living room with an electric piano, games, lego, kapla or a train track.
There is no TV in this house, but Wi-Fi is available, so if you bring your own laptop, you can watch movies on it.

We bought this house 2.5 years ago and have been renovating it step by step. The living room, kitchen and bedrooms have been refurbished; the toilets, upstairs windows, bathroom, stairs and a few details are still in their original state. We took this into account in the price. At the front of the house there is a lawn. There are two playgrounds close by the house.

The backyard is not so big, but is located on the south, so in summer you can have breakfast outside in the morning and eat outside in the evening. The garden is child or wild; if you like very neat gardens this might not be your place.
The beach of Bergen aan Zee is 6.9 km away, which is about half an hour cycling. The center of the village of Bergen is a fifteen minute walk or a quick bike ride. Amsterdam is also well-traveled, from Alkmaar by train, or by car.

The village of Bergen is cozy, with a museum, many terraces, old houses, a library and a market on weekends. The village of Schoorl, with the most beautiful dunes in the Netherlands, is also recommended.

The house is suitable for 4 people (although it is possible to put a mattress on the floor in the big children's room, if you are with 5 people). We live here ourselves, and the house is for rent when we are away. Please note that there will be some personal items left in the house.
