Isola Rossa takes its name from the islet of red porphyry in front of the inhabited center.

BEACHES AND CALETTE
THE LONG BEACH
Bordered by the cliffs of Li Bicchi Russi on one side and those near the belvedere on the other, it is the main beach of Isola Rossa with clear water and interesting seabed rich in fauna; it is the most popular as it is close to the houses of the inhabited center.
LA MARINEDDA
A few km from Isola Rossa, it has a wild charm. This reddish beach, like the rocks that surround it, overlooks an incredibly clear and blue sea.
La Marinedda is the ideal destination for wave surf lovers. It can be reached with a short road that starts on the outskirts of the tourist center of Isola Rossa, heading north. During the summer season you will find several dining options open.
FERULI
Li Feruli beach, south of Isola Rossa, develops along the coast and connects to the Li Junchi beach in Badesi.
You can reach it from Isola Rossa by going backwards on the main road for about 2 km and a half, until the crossroads with the indication La Scalitta. The road is narrow but paved and, following the signs, leads to the parking lot, from which you can reach the beach. The sand has a medium cream-colored grain and is one of the least crowded. Suitable for those looking for an intact and wild environment, among the colors and scents of the Mediterranean scrub.
