My flat is on the second floor of an ancient palace with a balcony overlooking the Grand Canal, composed of a living room with a dining area, an American-style kitchenette, a bathroom with shower, a double bedroom and a single bedroom with Venetian terrazzi (typical ancient floor) artistic ceramics and stained glass windows ,typical of the lagoon tradition, furnished in a modern style but with a touch of ancient tradition in chandeliers and antique fireplace;
The apartment is located in the rialto area particularly rich of history and tradition with the fish market and the many Venetian Osteria and Bacari that allow you to live the experience of past times .. The apartment has a very particular entrance from the bridge of the two swords ... The Beccarie campo is a stone's throw away! i am a lawyer who had the dream to live in Venice..my family lived in Mestre..i still have my office there but my goal is to enjoy the early morning and the evening in Venice walking around and meet my friends in the traditional cafe...i like to know persons from other countries ..i rent my home, because i like to open my intimate and personal nest to others .. ..it is a part of me..many of my guests are now good friends..it is nice to visit them in their countries...i travel a lot for my work and for pleasure...it is a good way to open yourself to the life...Venice is still now a city where you can meet people from all over the world , i love to share this joy with others. it is difficult to trust a new person hosting her in your home...it can be a way to pay the mortgage but also to give a good memories of you and your home to others. Venice is still a city where we know each others .....we are very few.. Venetian style of hospitality means introduce your guest to the feeling of the city, taking a coffe together, eating a cicchetti at bacari and osterie..this is, in my opinion, an important part of an holidays in Venice..i really would like to introduce you to this old and friendly way of life to leave you a good memories of this cute tradition.
