Bright, comfortable double bedroom (for single tenant) with shared bathroom available in Victorian terraced family house, for a minimum of one month. Located on a quiet cul-de-sac, one minute’s walk to the centre of lively and trendy Crouch End with excellent amenities. There are fast bus services direct to central London, tube and mainline stations (Finsbury Park, Archway). You will share the house with an academic couple and two boys.

I am an Italian Londoner, I have been living in Crouch End for over 15 years with my 2 teenager boys. We recently added a cockapoo called Pluto to the family. Pluto is a ball of fur and is very friendly and cuddly.

I work in academia in the field of cognitive psychology / neuroscience; my job allows me to work from home sometimes, especially when I am not teaching.

Why they chose this property

Crouch End is a very vibrant, safe and well-connected area of North London. Transport to central London is quick and efficient. Many lovely and friendly cafes and restaurants make the area lively and create a nice, community-based atmosphere.
There are supermarkets as well as many independent groceries and shops, a library, 2 cinemas, 4 gyms and 2 pools.
A lovely park and an old, well-kept railway path in the woods are great for walks and jogging.

Our house is bright, spacious and quiet, and it is just one block behind the main shops and amenities.
The house is organised on 4 levels, which allows privacy and independence. This, combined with fast wi-fi, working space and a large kitchen make it ideal for remote working, as well as for recharging at the end of a busy day in town.
