About this property

Our apartment is a retro getaway surrounded by a small-big city charm. The living area is 65 square meters (m2), on the 4th floor. Three big rooms with sleeping for up to 6. We have a double bed in each bedroom suitable for two people, and a sofa in the living room that fits 2 people. Towels and bedding are available.

We have Wifi And a 50 inch smart in the living room.

Metro, bus, and tram are all within walking distance. The capital city's nightlife on famous Oslo streets such as Karl Johan Street, Torg gata, Aker Brygge, Barcode (The Norwegian Opera & Ballet), Grünnerløkka and many more are also just a stroll away.

Extremely many sights (!) are within walking distance of this lovely apartment. Sights such as the country's first and largest library: Deichman Library (Deichman Library), exotic markets in Greenland are five minutes away. Munch museum and the beach at Sørenga are only a 15 minute walking distance plus Oslo's biggest shopping mall: Oslo City. The main train and bus stations are 10 mins walk from the apartment.
This apartment puts you right in the heart of the city with lovely discovery walks that stretch from nearby Brugata (30sec) to Grünnerløkka (6min), Pilestredet (10min), Sagene (15min) down to the fjord by Aker Brygge (20min) shore area .

Suitable for all types of travelers such as families with small children to the businessman staying for only one night. Everybody wants to stay connected and spontaneous during their Oslo visit (regardless of whether a long or short stay :-)

Host and apartment with kind spirit

Was great to meet our host at the apartment...added to knowing the spirit of the place, which was cheerful and kind. Great privacy and very quiet up on the top - 4th floor (walk up) in heart of the city. Super easy walk from train station and to all the things we wanted to see while visiting. Beds were comfortable with clean crisp sheets...the rest of the apartment is well lived in, but honestly that kind of adds to the charm that we were staying in someone's home, which they were kind enough to share with us. If I ever have the opportunity to travel to Norway again I would certainly check availability here again.

Family apartment in Oslo, with fridge art

Read all the reviews to understand what this place is like! Apartment is few blocks from a nice area but the immediate area is sketchy. The street smelled but the apartment was good. Comfortable beds and hot shower. The ceiling is very low in some parts. One king bed, one queen and a couch Fine for 4 people but 7 would be tight. There’s lots of bedding and an air mattress. Yes it is a ton of stairs. We appreciated the washing machine and hangers for drying. Also we borrowed umbrellas.

Central Location with Issues

1. Walking distance to most sites in Oslo. 2. It was advertised as sleeping for 7 but only 4 could fit in the bedrooms. The couch would not comfortably fit 3 adults. 3. Online pictures (VRBO) did not match the condo we were in. We did, however, enjoy the unadvertised outside space. 4. This top floor condo has some great retro accents.

Perfect location

Very good location in very central Oslo, however…….5 flights of pretty steep steps. If you need the windows open for fresh air the street noise is very loud all through the night. If you have a car stay elsewhere, parking is expensive. If on foot it is perfect, lots of cafes, shops, bars and transit.
