Very convenient stop-off point
Owner responded to booking very quickly, and was even available when we arrived in the dark later than we had planned. Basic amenities but that was all we needed.

Beautiful scenery and amazing hosts
Beautiful area few minutes walk onto the hill for amazing views. A lot of privacy. Many beautiful sights to see not too far away. Quite town nearby. Amazing hosts, we’ve felt really welcomed throughout the stay, you can really feel that they are honest good people. One thing to note that the roads are very steep and narrow, however this is not a major issue ( I believe that’s the case in many areas of Wales) I would definitely go back again if ever going back to South Wales. Only two caravans on site which for us was great as this was sort of the accommodation we were looking for.

Caravan had everything we needed. Very comfortable with beautiful Welsh hills on doorstep
We enjoyed our stay here. Sue and her husband were very helpful. We loved being able to walk onto Welsh hills directly from the caravan door......and being rewarded with beautiful views, Welsh ponies and sheep grazing. Caravan had everything we needed. There is another caravan on site, which was not an issue for the stay. Everyone was very friendly and relaxed and kids loved meeting new puppies and farm dogs. Fairly remote but within easy drive to Hay and other places. The surrounding area and views are stunning.

John has lived here most of his life farming and rearing sheep, cattle and horses. I have lived in the area for over 30 years, and at Tynbanal for 10 years helping John with the livestock and tractor driving for his agricultural contract business

What makes this property unique

This property is in a very secluded part of Mid Wales with no sound of any roads, with Red Kites and Buzzards circling overhead. Cows and calves walk by down the track behind the mobile home.
