Half Byre @ Westfield
A beautiful single storey barn conversion with exposed roof trusses, stone walls and wood burning stove in a central fireplace. Half Byre offers outstanding holiday accommodation for four guests looking for a touch of luxury in a lovely seaside location. Interiors are sociable and spacious with open plan living, perfect for a coastal escape at any time of year… the underfloor heating keeps the property cosy whatever the season.
This eco friendly cottage has a wonderful courtyard and garden with uninterrupted sea views towards the Farne Islands. It’s just a short walk into the village of Seahouses for local shops, pubs and cafes and the beach is within easy reach too… about a mile away.
Half Byre is a great base for exploring this beautiful area - visit the Farne Islands to observe the seabirds and the colony of Grey Seals. 3 miles north is the impressive Bamburgh Castle which clings to a rocky outcrop, and it’s just 5 miles to Holy Island and Lindisfarne (accessible at low tide along the causeway). Just south of Seahouses is Beadnell Bay with its unique west facing harbour for sailing, windsurfing and scuba diving. Good golfing (0,.5 miles), fishing and horse riding available locally.
Sleeps: 4 in 2 bedrooms.
Beds : 2 x doubles/can be configured as twins on request.

Kitchen : electric range oven with ceramic hob, fridge, freezer, microwave, dishwasher.
Dining : pine dining table and 4 chairs.
Living : sofas, wood burning stove, WiFi, Freeview TV.
Bedroom 1: double/twin bed,
Ensuite : shower, WC, wash hand basin.
Bedroom 2: double/twin bed,
Ensuite bathroom : Jack n Jill style bathroom, shower, wash hand basin, WC.
Entertainment: WiFi, Freeview TV and DVD.
For families : cot and a highchair can be hired - please provide your own cot linen and towels @ £10.00 per week per item.
Outside : enclosed garden patio area.
Parking : two off road parking spaces.
General : WiFi. Bedding (duvets per bed & 2 pillows per person), bed linen, towels (hand & bath sheet per person, plus bathroom hand towels). Underfloor heating. October-March initial supply of logs, kindling and matches. Welcome Pack : tea, coffee, sugar, milk, locally baked bread and cake, preserve and butter.
