Sweet and comfortable place to stay.
An excellent place to stay near Keswick and the northern lakes. Our host had provided lots of goodies, scones, jam, butter, wine, breakfast cereals and milk and everything we needed. The place was spotless too. A very friendly host.

Great stay
We stayed at the property for 3 night with two Labradors. The hosts were fantastic from booking through to departure. We informed the hosts that we would be arriving very late, they assisted us by putting the heating and lights on for our arrival. They also had cakes, biscuits etc all handmade ready for our arrival. The cottage is located in a lovely quiet village. We will definitely be returning next year. Keep up the great work

40th birthday present
My daughter and son in law loved their stay in tuther cottage. The owners were incredibly accomodating and kept them updated with arrangements. It is a cute little cottage with fantastic dog walks on the doorstep. The scenery of the lakes did not disappoint. They hope to return in the future.

Cosy, comfortable, clean
We enjoyed staying in this cosy, little cottage very, very much because of the very warm welcome (yummie) and all the little details that made our visit so comfortable (including the treats and the towel for the dog). The cottage was clean, very well-equipped and close to many destinations in the Lake District. Thank you, Howard and Jen!

Though neither of us were born in Cumbria we moved into this village over 35 years ago and we still feel privileged to live in such a beautiful area. These days as well as sharing our cottage with visitors we're available to share Information with guests on some of the better known and little-known attractions of the Western Lake District and Solway coast. When we're not acting as hosts, we love to travel ourselves especially in the winter when the snow-capped ski slopes beckon.
