About this property

This apartment has amazing views along the beach front from the bustle of the port at Harwich with the large ships coming and going, past the pier and further north towards Felixstowe Ferry. Felixstowe Ferry sits within the Suffolk Coast and Heaths Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and has some lovely walks and the opportunity to see flora and fauna specific to this part of the country. Sitting on the balcony, you can relax with the sound of the waves on the shore and see all that's going on and with everything that Felixstowe offers you can park the car for your stay and not worry about having to drive. The local bus stops on at Hyldon Court on Wolsey Gardens, just a short walk from the apartment and heads to Ipswich or Landguard Fort.

Stepping back into the apartment, it provides everything you would need for a holiday by the coast including chairs to take to the beach. The apartment is well furnished to give you a comfortable place to stay while you explore the town and beach or further afield in Suffolk. Felixstowe has a train service from Ipswich with connections from further afield including London making it a great place to visit without the car. The close proximity of everything allows you to explore on foot, experiencing a traditional beach holiday whilst also having lots of other things to do.

Comfortable with great views

Very well equipped and comfortable maisonette. Outstanding views of the pier and coastline. Easy free parking close to the block of flats. There are concrete stairs to climb up to the front door. We sat on the balcony in the February sunshine! Easy walk to shops and restaurants. Enjoyable walks along the promenade. Lovely beach with mostly sand. Plenty of other coastal walks within reach by car plus Sutton Hoo is a short drive away. In the summer the foot passenger ferries would open up other trips across the rivers. Some lovely old buildings around town. Can visit many pretty villages by car in Suffolk and Norfolk.

Fab and cosy retreat

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely apartment. Clean, comfy and well equipped, there was nothing we were left wanting. The location was perfect and views incredible. Loved every minute of our stay and enjoyed the welcome gifts on arrival.

Highly recommend

Helpful with questions on arrival. Very well equipped flat . We appreciated the heating and hot water in the shower. Magnificent view of the sea and sky and the ships going in and out of the Port. As reviewed by others - the beds are VERY hard and uncomfortable. We had to use all available to put onto top of mattresses .. Such a shame !

Superb location and comfortable accommodation

This was our second year staying in this flat. The location can not be any better. The flat is furnished with a real good taste and is equipped with everything that makes the stay comfortable with many little touches adding to the feeling of being welcome and well looked after. If I have only one comment, it will be about the bed. It is reasonable but could be a little more comfortable. May be a thought for the next refresh.
