Perfecta!

Mejor imposible: situación, alojamiento y propietaria encantadora. Está a la entrada de Valencia, por lo que no hay que conducir mucho dentro de la ciudad para llegar (nos ahorramos la cantidad de tráfico). Sheila, la propietaria, disponible en cualquier momento. El piso tiene de todo como en tu casa y mejor aún, con 2 terracitas, una gran cocina, el aseo con una ducha amplia, el saloncito y dos habitaciones. A parte, cuenta con los accesorios propios como vajilla, utensilios, ollas, sartenes, cafetera, tostadora, hervidor de agua El lavabo es bajito con lo que es muy útil para niños y sillas de ruedas. También tiene varios jabones de ducha, cremas, secador y el inodoro hasta chorro de agua. Así como en la cocina, especias, sal, film, albal, azúcar, avena, cacao, café.... Y la situación fantástica, a 5-10 min andando de Parque Gulliver, Jardin de Turia con el Oceanografic, Mercado Central. Y como a 15-20 min andando la catedral, plaza de toros... Muchas gracias Sheila, Valencia nos ha encantado y en gran parte por la comodidad en todos los aspectos del alojamiento

Perfect!

Very nice week end with my friends. Sheila was available for giving the keys and the apartment was very comfortable and clean. The terrace is very pretty and very pleasant for lunch. Everything was Perfect.

Good choice for the location

The host was very cordial, met us at the entrance, and explained a few basic things when we arrived during her walk through of the property. When we booked this property, it had no reviews so we were taking a chance but we felt comfortable with the photographs in the listing. We paid an average price for the place. It wasn’t cheaper or more expensive than others. The unit is on the second floor (elevator or stairs to choose from). The unit is a nice size for our standards and has plenty of windows and natural light. I want to set expectations for any future renters. If you have rented before via the typical sites, you know they go out of their way to give personal touches to the renter. You will not find that with this property. The unit has 2 bedrooms: 1) 2 single beds 2) 1 double bed (EU standard not US so it is smaller than a queen but bigger than a full). Both mattresses offer good support, sheets were clean & smelled good. You are provided with 1 bath towel and 1 hand towel per person. Clean and standard size. You get toilet paper and napkins (no paper towels) , some spices, aluminum foil, cling wrap, eating utensils, plates, ironing board, iron, small hair dryer, garbage bags, dish soap, dish sponge, laundry detergent, clothes pins, etc. The property is quiet, though you can hear into neighboring units. Washing machine is small but works well, no dryer. Small clothesline with a handful of clothes pins. You have a split unit in the living room and another in the room with the double bed. Bathroom is small, has large shower head & handheld shower head as well. Toilet seat is loose & is missing one of the rivets that holds the seat stable, so it moves around whenever you sit. Bathroom Sink is not properly anchored & shifts around. Floorboards have water damage & paint is peeling. Kitchen/Dining Room has a comfortable table with 4 chairs, a nice size fridge that works well (no ice maker), small sink, small microwave, small oven, ancient coffee maker, pop up toaster, gas stove top, a few cooking utensils. Overall, it was lackluster. The unit could have been made to be more inviting. There were no personal touches. It wasn’t filthy but needed a deep cleaning & to fix all the things that are broken/not working properly. The neighborhood is quiet, close to the city center. There are multiple, large trash bins at every corner where you drop off your garbage. The streets were very clean. Definite + on location since you can walk everywhere.
