This is a great apartment just 10 minutes drive from Southampton city centre.

I has 2 bedrooms that can be set as double or twin rooms and very comfortable sofa bed. The furnishings are modern and you have everything you need to make your stay very enjoyable.

It has a great family bathroom and a lovely ensuite to the main bedroom. Its great if you want to relax in the evening with the children in bed.

It is close to hospitals, train stations, cruise terminals, the theatre, the football stadium, even Paulton's Park (home of Peppa Pig) and the city centre.

You can find anything you could want on Shirley Road, convenience shops, pubs and restaurants and places to shop.

It really is a great base from which to explore Southampton.

Twenty or so years later we are still friends and lots has happened including making our own families. Why they chose this property

Shirley Road Apartment is perfectly situated for easy access to the city centre and all major hospials. You will find that it is on the bus route and theare are plenty of buses to get you around. We have off off street parking at Shirley Road Apartment so if you are coming for work with a van this provides extra security.

What makes this property unique

Southampton City Centre is the commercial and organisational centre of the City of Southampton, and the transport hub of the city. Because Southampton is on the South Coast of England, the city centre is not at the geometric centre of the city, but at the southern extremity.

The traditional heart of the city is the High Street, which runs from the Town Quay to the Bargate, which was once the northern gateway to the walled city. As the city grew, this primary commercial area spread to the north of the Bargate, into Above Bar Street. Subsequent reclamation of land from Southampton Water to the west of the High Street meant further expansion in that direction, forming an area now known as West Quay and dominated by the modern Westquay shopping centre. When it opened, Westquay was the largest city-centre shopping centre in Europe, with around 100 shops.
