The Coach House is a detached cottage, originally used as stables for horses, set in the village of Barrowden in Rutland. Hosting three bedrooms, including a super king-size double with en-suite bathroom, king-size double with en-suite bathroom and a double, plus a cloakroom, this cottage can sleep six guests. There is also a kitchen with dining area and a sitting room. To the outside is an enclosed courtyard with a dining set and a barbecue, along with off-road parking for three cars. The Coach House is a tranquil retreat for couples wanting to explore the East Midlands.

Town: Barrowden is located adjacent to the River Welland in Rutland and in between Uppingham and Peterborough. Close by is Rutland Water reservoir which offers a number of watersport activities and the Rutland Water Golf Club which is ideal for the keen golfer. Other attractions in the region can be found in Uppingham, Oakham and Stamford, home to the iconic Burghley House.

The Coach House, Barrowden
We adored the house, well appointed, in an idyllic setting. The perfect place for a holiday getaway, can’t rate it highly enough. We plan to return in the near future.
