A secluded romantic villa, the house of light is a beach front villa in Kas peninsula it has a unique location perfectly situated on the edge of a beautiful cove it stays there by itself, peacefully tucked in the heart of the Mediterranean seashore. Crystal clear Turquoise water, cove is a scuba divers training location and swimming area. There are steps down to the sea from the house, when you are on the balcony , cove looks like your own private swimming pool and you feel exactly you are on a boat deck, which is on a blue voyage on the Mediterranean sea.

The house is in the middle of 2500 square meter garden secluded from the presence or view of others, freedom of shower under the stars , IT IS PERFECT FOR THOSE WHO CARE SO MUCH ABOUT THEIR PRIVACY , it seems like real world thousand miles away yet the center of town 15-20 minutes walking distance: markets, restaurants, marina, sea port and all. You can take the minibus going to Kas it stops in front of the house every half hour.

Constriction of the house is in adobe style it has 330 cm high wood ceiling, 9m wood glass doors off the living room opens completely to bay view and to the balcony, the right hand side: Greek island Megisti and center: round up little islands, on the left hand side: town Kas . at the north face 4m glass wood doors open to the garden entrance , summer ventilation helps cooling, two bedrooms have air conditioners.

House blend the indoor and outdoor living experience together, it has a big garden with avocado, lemon, orange, tangerine, olive trees and flower honeysuckle, jasmine and bougainvillea.

Fabulous location, 100% privacy, lovely owners - can’t recommend highly enough!

Just spent 8 days at this lovely villa with my pal. We felt like spoiling ourselves and this was definitely the place to do it! The location is fabulous with no neighbours and the most stunning views. The wonderfully warm and very saline cove was a short walk down the bottom of the garden. Floating was effortless (I’m not a strong swimmer) and the snorkelling was great so, unusually for me, I spent a lot of time in the water. Bring some sea shoes as the rocks getting in and out are sharp. We saw some amazing fish... There are a variety of balconies and chill out spaces outside the villa so that guests can always be in the sun if they so wish....or shade, according to your preference. The owners are really lovely, so warm and friendly and accommodating. We were told to contact them 24/7 if we needed them but as it happens we didn’t need to other than one day when the WiFi wouldn’t spark up and Jesse quickly fixed this for us. The interior isn’t 5 star, it’s a family home so it’s a little lived in but that really only added to it’s quirkiness and charm and wasn’t a problem. The only background noise was during the day time from the little bar at the hotel in the cove below. I wouldn’t even mention it other than the fact they played the same cds every day. Next time we go we will bring them some new music! The dolmus stops at the top of the garden and it’s a few minutes ride and a few pennies to get to town. I don’t know when the last bus is but we came back about 11 ish on a few occasions. We were 2 women on our own and always felt comfortable and safe both in Kas and in the villa. So, in summary, I am confident you won’t be disappointed if you book this beautiful villa. Be mindful that the hill side is steep so this is not for anyone with poor mobility. And don’t forget to pack your snorkel!

I would like to point out same differences between this villa end other self catering villas in Kas and Kalkan
1-it is most close to center of town (walking distance) to go to town car is not needed
2-house has personality and warmth -adobe style home-high ceiling (3.5 m)-63square meter living room front 9 m windows completely opens to sea view and the back 4m window opens to garden

3-home is in 2500 square meter land by it self there is no other home attached(FOR SAME TRAVELLER PRİVACY İS MOST İMPORTANT), you can sunbathe as you like, faraway from eyesight of others.

4-there is only one cove in peninsula and that is your private swimming pool-when you sit at the balcony it feels exactly like you are on deck of a sail boat -it is perfect for honeymoon or to fall in love again whit your beloved one.
5-view is best in Kas-270 degree view ,on the right hand Greek island Megisti, at the center İslands of many and on the right hand side town Kas and mountainside
6- sea protected from west wind and rough sea by netural location, not same as other parts of the peninsula (windy swimming pool or rough sea is not fun for swimming)
