Kilconquhar Castle Estate
The holiday accommodation is located on the idyllic estate of Kilconquhar Castle, a mile and a half from the golden beaches of Elie and a 20-minute drive from Saint Andrews.

The self-catering accommodation comprises of a full kitchen, lounge, dining area, 3 bathrooms, a 2 double bedrooms, and 2 twin bedroom. The accommodation will sleep up to 10 with the use of the sofa bed in the lounge. The estate has Wi-Fi in the accommodations which will connect up to 2 devices. Due to available bandwidth, the Wifi is only suitable for web searches and emails. There is a television in the lounge which offers a range of digital free view channels and a DVD player. The villa features a private sauna and a log/coal fire.

The accommodation is heated throughout with electric heaters. The hot water is supplied from a tank and the hot water must be left on for the hot water to be replenished.

During your stay on the estate you are welcome to use the leisure club facilities which are included in your stay. They include a heated indoor swimming pool, saunas, badminton court, outdoor tennis court, gymnasium, pitch and putt and the golf driving range. The majority of the equipment is supplied at the reception desk. During Scottish school holiday periods the leisure team will run children’s clubs that will offer a range of arts and crafts, cookery and sports activities.

The leisure facilities are open from 8.00 am to 8.00 pm. On Christmas day the leisure facilities will only be open until 5pm.

The restaurant on the estate is open throughout the week from 8.30 am to last food orders at 8.45 pm. We strongly advice booking in advance.

The estate hosts weddings and private events through the year. During a function music may play up to 12pm at night. If this is a concern, please contact us prior to booking and we will be able to confirm if a function is taking place during your dates.

Birthday celebration weekend

10 of our family stayed here at Easter weekend for a 60th birthday celebration. The villa was I very clean albeit some of the furniture was a wee bit dated. The accommodation provided everything we needed (apart from toiletries but we take our own anyway). The showers are not the best due to the water pressure but not an issue for us. The staff were very responsive. Kilconquhar estate provides great facilities and we had an amazing time there

Lovely and attentive staff

The Villa was like a time warp, it was exactly the same as the 80's when they were built!! If you like retro great but not for us. Things were falling apart everywhere and why not when their that old!! We couldn't fault the staff, leisure facilities and the surroundings, and the staff fixed everything very quickly when reported.

Great location and accommodation

The property was in a beautiful location and pet friendly. There was the required essentials for the kitchen, and the team were great in providing extra pans on request. The leisure facilities were easy to book and the extra kids activities were a bonus. Conveniently located to get to St Andrews and Dundee. Would definitely book again.
