Great family beach trip

The house and location are optimal. Cape San Blas is a very family and pet friendly beach. Very quiet area on the beach. House is well maintained and clean. Easy walk to the beach on a private boardwalk. The VayK rental gear was in good condition and no issues with delivery. The kitchen was well equipped. WiFi worked well. Rooms all had comfortable beds and nice size. Management was responsive before and during our stay (and even made sure there was extra propane for the grill). Plenty of parking available.

imo, best house on the cape

i’ve had some bad experiences with other vacation rental companies, so i was really nervous to book this house for a family vacay. however, it ended up being a great fit for us! there is some normal wear & tear, & it could use a good deep clean but nothing significant enough to impact our stay. the kitchen is well stocked, the house was large enough to have plenty of space for our family of 11, we never ran out of hot water, & i saw NO bugs in the house during our stay, which was a relief! The property manager addressed minor issues quickly & were helpful & pleasant with any question or concern i had! The best part of the house is the two-tier deck & easy access to the beach! We all left a little sad that our stay was over. i’ll forever be glad i booked this house!

Outstanding view but the inside needs some work!

When we arrived I immediately took pictures of the broken glass on the dining room table & chips in the tile floor of the foyer. The kitchen wasn’t very clean & there was a good amount of dust under the furniture & couch. The swivel chairs are stained as well as the decorative pillows in the living room. The broken glass on the table is dangerous as glass shards were falling onto the chair in front of it. We had to put a placemat over the glass in the table so no one would be cut. The upstairs master bedroom tub didn’t drain well at all. The upstairs master bedroom door to the balcony needs to be repaired as it is very difficult to open. We washed the bedding halfway through the stay & noticed what appeared to be a large blood stain on a pillow upstairs in the master bedroom. Be sure to bring your own bath towels & extra kitchen towels because there will only be one set for each person that stays & 1 kitchen towel & wash cloth. All of this being said, the property management does an excellent job with communication & the view is outstanding!!!!! Be sure & watch the garbage man on Saturday morning. It’s great entertainment as you prepare to leave. He sings and dances for everyone as they are packing up to say goodbye to the beautiful gulf coast!

Perfect setting!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Can’t beat the location and the access to the beach. Amazing sunrises from the front deck. Magnificent sunsets from the back deck. House is well equipped and comfortable.

Great location

Great location. Need to hire new cleaning service. When we arrived the home was dirty. Dog hair and sand on floors. Appears had not been vacuumed Dryer heater element needs replaced. Took forever to dry clothes. Microwave did not work. Did finally get a loaner on Wednesday after contacts with management on Monday
