About this property

A traditional two bedroom chattell style house that has been lovingly restored to offer comfort and tradition whilst providing everything needed for a modern holiday.

2 bedrooms, one queen and a twin, sleeps 4 plus a cot if required

Living area including 3 piece suite, TV, wireless internet, English and American plug sockets.

Fully equipped kitchen including fridge freezer, cooker and microwave. Plus plates, cups, cutlery etc.

Covered laundry area outside with fully automatic washing machine.
There are also portable room fans in the house.

Bathroom comprising of toilet, sink and shower. Nice and spacious.

Large veranda to the front of the house where you can sit and watch the world go by, plus a private back garden perfect for cooling off in the shade with an ice cold drink.

Close to all local amenities and some of the best beaches on the island.

Weather your relaxing on the veranda, catching some sun at the beach, visiting a traditional rum bar or exploring the bustling streets of Speightstown and taking in its rich history, there is always something to keep you busy, young and old.

About the host

Hosted by Carol Harewood

The house originally belonged to Waynes father and was situated in St John on the East coast of the island. Being a chattell house he was able to move it to Speightstown to be with Waynes mother and Waynes older sister. It was moved once more to its current location. Wayne and Carol renovated it in 2008 but were keen to keep the original look.
It is a lovely little house yet has all the ameneties for modern day living.
the house is situated in the heart of the local community where the people are very helpful and friendly.

Why they chose this property

Situated a short walk away from the hustle and bustle of the town centre. But not to far that you can’t walk to the stunning beaches and shops that speightstown has to offer. Very reasonably priced and if you ever have any problems big or small help is always at hand.

What makes this property unique

The house is soon to be registered as a recognised government isolation facility. This means that when you book you don't need to worry about finding somewhere else to isolate on your arrival should that then be the law.
