Family mini break
The barn is very well equipped and felt like home. Situated on a small holding very close to the Black Mountain and surrounded by beautiful scenery. The kids enjoyed cuddling the baby lambs. Woyld highly recommend for a break in the Brecon Beacons.

Lovely
Beautifully decorated and lovely location. Even a nice welcome basket of treats on arrival. If taking a dog be aware there is a £15 surcharge which we hadn't realised.

Lovely spot
This is a very comfortable holiday home which still shows its roots as a barn. The kitchen area works very well and the lounge is very comfortable. Outside there is a lovely view of the farther hills and it is a sheltered spot for a cuppa after a good days walk in the beautiful surrounding countryside. We had a lovely stay and Lea was very helpful with suggestions of walks. We would certainly recommend it for anyone who likes the great outdoors. There is plenty of parking but the drive is a bit steep and uneven.

Fantastic property, Fantastic location, fantastic views!
A great property finished to a high standard, lovely welcome basket, it felt like such a treat arriving at the house after all the covid chaos. The location is amazing with views out over the valley to the mountains and just off the start of the mountain road. House has everything you need for 4 + our dog. Such a shame we had to come home.

About the host

Lea, Vick, and Annie welcome you to Pentwyn Barn.
Here is a little more about us.
We moved to Brynamman in 2011 after falling in love with the village we decided to buy Pentwyn Farm with the idea of living a semi-self sufficient lifestyle.

Why they chose this property

in 2019 we bought the adjoining barn and renovated it to provide a holiday let with a home from home atmosphere for people looking to enjoy the countryside and seek some solitude far from the madding crowds.

What makes this property unique

Pentwyn Barn is situated on our working smallholding, where sheep, pigs, chickens, and ducks wander free-range. If you have small children who would like to meet the animals and help collect fresh eggs then this can be arranged.
