If you come by car, you will be in no time at beautiful nature reserves, larger places such as Ommen and Zwolle and even Giethoorn is nearby.

Amazing host, Amazing property

We stayed at this property for 5 night and didn’t want to leave! As a family of 8, there was plenty of room for the us to spread out as well as a private outdoor grass area. We had access to the farm and as an ongoing farming operation the hosts were so amazing to chat with and showed us around. I am extremely impressed with how clean the home was and no details went overlooked. We would 100% stay here again and will be recommending to everyone we know!

We hebben hier twee weken een heerlijke vakantie gehad. We werden warm ontvangen met verse bloemen uit eigen tuin en wat lekkers. Het is een groot huis, dat erg compleet is ingericht, met goede bedden en prima wifi. De eigenaren zijn vriendelijk. Ze accepteren je privacy en laten je overal op de boerderij rondkijken. We kregen zelfs een gedegen rondleiding door de stallen en door de prachtige vaste-plantentuin. We werden (op ons verzoek) geroepen toen er een kalfje geboren moest worden. We kregen een mooi inzicht in het reilen en zeilen op een boerderij. Binnen max. een kwartiertje met de auto zijn er volop restaurants en winkels aanwezig. Waar wij misschien wel hadden verwacht last van koeien en trekkers te zullen hebben, bleek het heerlijk rustig (ondanks dat het boerenleven in volle gang was). De eigen tuin bij het huis is afgesloten en dus privé. Prima vertoeven!

Vorig weekend met 5 vrienden in het heerlijke huis De Kolonie verbleven. Wij konden op vrijdag een uurtje eerder dan gebruikelijk de sleutel op halen. Ons werd aangeboden om rond 18 uur een rondleiding te krijgen in de koeienstal en te ervaren hoe de koeien worden gemolken. Aansluitend kregen we een rondleiding in de tuin, waar nog niet veel in bloei stond maar het fotoboek dat de eigenaresse van vorige zomer liet zien was prachtig. Goede reden om ook een keer hoog zomer hier te verblijven. Het huis is prachtig, schoon, de tuin is groot en volledig privé. Ik kom hier zeker nog een keer.

Ontzettend fijn verblijf! In het huis is alle aanwezig wat je nodig hebt: handdoeken, beddengoed, afwasmiddel en zelfs wat wc-papier. Het huis is netjes schoon, erg ruim (meer dan genoeg ruimte voor 8 personen) en in een heerlijk rustige omgeving. De eigenaren zijn erg vriendelijk. Er is zelfs een mogelijkheid om een rondleiding te krijgen op het bedrijf. Zeker aan te raden.
