I Mori di Sicilia by Wonderful Italy - Casa Rosalia

Casa Rosalia is named after the beautiful female protagonist of the Moro legend, which led to the creation of the famous Moro heads.
Located on the first floor of an ancient building located in one of the historic alleys opposite the majestic Massimo Theater, the apartment is furnished in a modern style, with a cozy living / sleeping area equipped with a queen size bed and a double sofa bed. The kitchen is independent and well equipped.

*The apartment is located in a pedestrian area with many clubs and may not be very quiet during the evening hours.

Via dell’Orologio is a quiet pedestrian street close to the Puppets Theatre, a unique Sicilian tradition that really worths a visit. Our apartment is located in a side street of Via Maqueda, one of the most important commercial avenues in town alongside Via Ruggero VII and Via della Libertà. Via Maqueda has been recently made a car free area, and this has brought more stores, bars and restaurants in the area.
The area is just a stone’s throw from the main points of interest, as well as the luxury shopping area of Via della Libertà. Around Via dell’Orologio many restaurants and bars, where guests can enjoy the worldwide famous Sicilian cuisine, can be found. The Teatro Massimo and Quattro Canti are just around the corner, and the Cathedral of Palermo is just a 10-minute stroll from the apartment.
The Arab-Norman path (part of the UNESCO heritage) and the historic markets, such as mercato Vucciria are about a 5-minute walk from the apartment.

The closest stop of the airport bus shuttle is in Piazza Politeama, 10 minutes away from the apartment. Bus stops can also be found nearby, such as in Via Roma, less than 5 minutes away from the apartment.

Très bien mais peu bruyant en raison des restaurants.

Ponctualité pour l'accueil. L'emplacement nous a permis de connaître le centre de palerme et surtout ses monuments de la période normande.

Accoglienza perfetta e puntuale, struttura da migliorare negli spazi condominiali portone e vano scala (quest'ultimo molto rovinato e un po' inquietante). Ottima posizione. Camera accogliente ma cucina e bagno con qualche pecca nella pulizia

Nice place, great location

The apartment is very nice, and the location is perfect. The hosts were very nice, and helpful. A couple things could be improved. The wi-fi is very weak and unstable (I had to get a hotel room with stronger wi-fi in order to attend a Zoom meeting), and while the kitchen is nice, it would be a bit more useful if it had a few cooking basics (even just some salt would help). In any case, I would stay their again for sure, if the wi-fi were improved.

midden in de stad

De keuken was een ware wanhoop. De gasfles was leeg. De pannen verbrand. Het koffiezetapparaat liet de koffie overal heenlopen maar niet in het kopje. De waterkoker had zwarte stukjes van binnen. Kortom we hadden niks aan die keuken, gelukkig wel een koelkast en een magnetron. De bank in de kamer was prima evenals het bed. Verder was het een ruim appartement.
