The small house Il Girasole is located inside the Farm, where also the owners live; the Farm produces wine and oil of excellent quality, which you can taste and buy on site. The sweetness of the surrounding countryside, with the thousand colours of the cultivated fields and vineyards, offers magnificent views that will frame your holiday moments to remember.
The stone house presents elements of a traditional Tuscan farmhouse, combined at the same time with modern comforts (air conditioning, Wi-Fi, dishwasher). Suitable, in our opinion, for couples who want to spend their holidays at the slow and relaxing pace of the countryside.
About 5 km away is the medieval village of Castiglion Fiorentino, a destination rich in history and ideal to explore, where you can spend a nice evening for a typical dinner out or an aperitif in the narrow streets and stone squares. In the village you will also find shops and supermarkets of all kinds.
The large garden, completely fenced and surrounded by olive trees, the cool swimming pool (size 5x12 mt., depth 1,20-1,80 mt.) to share with the owners together with a furnished pergola , located in front of the property, and equipped with a series of upholstered sofas and hammocks to relax outdoors on summer evenings, are definitely the icing on the cake, and could persuade you to stay at home in complete tranquility. Not far away, in the valley, passes the railway line that connects central Italy with the main cities of the peninsula (Florence, Bologna, Rome, Milan).
