Lovely Family Holiday Townhouse with private enclosed corner garden that has direct access to communal green area and pool. Perfect location - walking distance to beach, Marina and town. Tram stop to Alicante or Benidorm right outside the complex taking you up and down the coast with ease. We booked to stay at Happy Home from 19 to 22 June 2022. We left earlier than planned for the reasons given below. It’s been a while since we had a family holiday and we wanted to treat or 2-year old granddaughter to a beach old. Sadly, Happy Home was not a happy experience. The house was very very hot, the red-tiled flat roof over the bedrooms soaked-up the sun during the day then sent the heat back into the bedrooms after dark. Unbearable. We could not sleep. It was nearly 30⁰C indoors at night. Shameful to offer this poorly ventilated property to holidaymakers during the hottest summer months in Spain. We were very careful during the day to keep cool outside. We lowered all the window shutters to reduce the heat gain during the day but the house remained boiling hot at the end of the day. The ceiling ventilators were not effective, just recycled the internal heat. Many of the free-standing fans were encrusted with dust. The dust released from these fans caused breathing problems and allergic reactions. Couldn't open the windows to let in any cooler night air as lots of nasty mosquitos came in. There were no insect nets on the windows so opening the windows resulted in loads of mosquito bites. According to the local agent the inside and outside areas were not cleaned prior to our arrival. Dirty floors, dust and even cigarette butts were found. No hot water first night because the hidden switch on the hot water tank was turned-off previously by the owners. More..........

We are a busy family of 5 who love Spain and finally fulfilled our dream of having our own place to stay in El Campello. We chose the house as it is perfect for us and our 3 children of 13, 11 & 7 and we love every visit we make.

Why they chose this property

Its the perfect family base to explore the local area or relax and do nothing. Safe, enclosed and access to 2 pools but with its own spacious private garden that wraps all around the house means you have the space to sit and relax and plenty of space for your beach stuff, washing etc. We put in a pool table which the kids love o play on when we chill around the house. The tram stop outside the complex is so handy to take you up and down the coast. Into Alicante in 20 minutes or Benidorm in 40 minutes.
