The first and second floors lead to the seven spacious, bright hotel rooms, decorated individually with restored antiques, all of which are family mementos. Six of them have beamed pitched ceilings, another an individual terrace, two others have a balcony as well as a whimsical loft with an additional bed. Each room has been christened with the name of a fruit tree: the apple tree, the orange tree, the cherry tree, the vine, the plum tree, the pear tree, the apricot tree and the fig tree.
There is an independent ninth double room. It is a little cottage separeted from the main building by an inside garden which gives access to this room. It is the widest double room and has a loaft with an extra bed (futon style) 1,40 mts. large x 2 mts. long.
Guests can enjoy the rooms' magnificent views of the thick pinewood surrounding the grounds or of the vast, gentle Benejama valley, whose olive, almond and pine trees provide the background for a breathtaking sunset.
Mas Fontanelles is a 230-year-old rural cottage that was carefully restored and turned into a hotel. The restoration project has maintained the building's original character, in particular its primitive structure of wooden beams, while adding all the comforts and amenities of a modern hotel. Nice central heating in winter, cosy drawing rooms, a library, a sitting room with fire stove, large gardens, a trampoline, a table tennis and a 6 x 12 metres swimming pool surrounded by a beautiful green pinewood.
The rooms, with original wood ceiling beams, are spacious and bright, decorated with warm tone fabrics, offering magnificent views to the valley or the mountain. They all have a private bath with amenities and they are all equipped with TV, heating, and an individual adjustable air conditioning system.
Some of the rooms have an individual terrace, or a balcony and the largest room is located in an independent little cottage. Every area and corner has been designed to have a peaceful and relaxed break, surrounded by the sound of silence, light and nature.
