More Private than a Condo! Casa de la Hoja is a beautiful home, with a private pool (Heated pool is available. Fuel service charge applicable.) and staff.
Casa de la Hoja is conveniently located. Walk to the beach in less than 5 minutes, walk downtown to shopping and world class restaurants in just minutes. A short distance outside the properties main gate is a bus stop for Puerto Vallarta's Public transportation. Or you can easily catch a Taxi, or call an UBER.
Norma, the Maid and Memo the Moso (houseman) are the properties most valuable asset, They arrive at the house 6 days a week to pamper you.
Casa de la Hoja, a traditional Vallarta style home, also includes a separate Casita (apartment) on the grounds. Both feature everything you will need to feel at home, Casa de la Hoja is nestled in the exclusive Conchas Chinas area of Puerto Vallarta's beautiful South Shore. Your stay will include full use of Casa de la Hoja, and Casita your complete home in Vallarta, featuring private pool and two wet bars, three bedrooms, four beds, with three king size beds, and a Queen size bed located in the Casita's loft. Casa de la Hoja with the Casita has four baths, and complete kitchen. (smaller kitchen in the Casita) You can watch whales, dolphins and exotic birds, from every level of this Villa. There are private spaces to read a good book, or open terraces in which to spend your days lounging and relaxing.
The Villa can also be booked in conjunction with its sister Villa, Casa Owaissa VRBO # (389041) located next to the property, forming a compound of five bedrooms, six beds, and six bathrooms. The two houses together can accommodate up to twelve people. This rental option is great for larger families or a corporate retreat. Call for details.

Just what we needed

This house was simply amazing! The house has such great design and decor. It is airy but also provides shelter from the sun. We loved the pooñ and spent many hours there during our trip. It is quiet and far enough from downtown to feel peaceful but close enough to go everywhere you need. But best of all is the team that looks after the property. Norma and Memo are the best! They are genuinely friendly and made us feel so at home. We had long conversations with Norma during the mornings and she told us all sorts of great stories. Norma did a grocery run and got us fresh fruit, refried beans, tortillas and made us amazing Guac (all for a small fee). We also paid for a chef night where Norma and her husband Nestor came over and cooked a large meal for us. Nestor was head chef aboard a fancy yacht and can prepare anything! I recommend booking this for early on your stay as there will be leftovers you can keep having. Well worth it! Lionel was super responsive and a great host ad he has thought of everything. If we get a chance, we will go back!

Beautiful with lots of steps!

Was a gorgeous property with wonderful views. With four of us nearing our 80's, the steps getting into the house were a challenge, but should pose no problem for those younger and more fit.

Outstanding and Luxurious Stay

This home was extremely well appointed and clean. It had all the amenities we needed for a week's stay. Norma, Memo and Mario made sure that we had everything that we needed and went out of their way to make our stay a pleasurable one. The house itself is gorgeous, and the views were unbelievable. We spent a lot of time by the beautiful pool area and on the balcony overlooking the ocean. Yes, there were a large number of steep stairs to access the home from the street. This wasn't a problem for most of us, although we had my 74 year old mother with us, who, while she was able to navigate the stairs, she limited the number of times she left the house so as to avoid the stairs. She was more than happy to be "stuck" in such a gorgeous home and didn't have any complaints. I would stay in Casa de la Hoja again anytime! Thank you to Lionel and staff for an exquisite stay. The attention to detail was second to none.

A week in paradise

Casa de la Hoja was even better then the pictures. Comfortable, with a great view of the ocean. Great pool area. Memo and Norma were wonderful.

Incredible Experience

Lionel is a fantastic host and was very communicative. Norma and Memo were amazing! Anything we needed, they took care of it. They anticipated our needs better than we could have - true professionals. We were there during Hurricane Roslyn, but the location and strong structure of the house was perfect and we were barely affected - just a little rain and wind for an hour or so. Great location for exploring the gorgeous beaches of the Southern coast of PV, but still easily walkable to Los Muertos and the Malecon. Overall, a pretty perfect experience. The only thing I would note is that these photos don't accurately showcase how amazingly beautiful this villa is. The owner is selling and if you look up Casa de la Hoja on sites like MexHome, you'll see better photos. Would definitely stay again. If I had the cash, I'd buy the property - that's how great it is! Thanks Lionel, Norma and Memo for a lovely stay!

Why they chose this property

We fell in Love with Puerto Vallarta in 1990. We love the people, the culture, but most, the Warm Sunny Winters of Mexico.
We purchased Casa de la Hoja (our winter residence) in 2001. Casa Owaissa (our guest house) in 1995 We recently remodeled both houses. We rent one or both houses when we are not using them, call for details.

What makes this property unique

We enjoy the people and the diverse culture of Mexico. The beautiful white sand beaches, and all that the Bay of Banderas has to offer. Most of all, we love Puerto Vallarta's wonderful weather.
