Approx 5 miles from the historic town of Caernarfon, where you will find restaurants, pubs and of course Caernarfon Castle which is where Prince Charles was made the prince of Wales.
The University City of Bangor, approx. 9 miles with National Trust Penrhyn Castle, and

Review Quarryman's Cottage

This property is charming. Lovely stay. Hot water went out on our last night, and the owner attempted to repair it, we didn't have hot water the next morning. It was very damp while we were there. Putting clothes on drying rack just didn't work. Install a dryer? Also, for the older renters, think about installing grab bars near the very deep bath tub.

Clean, comfy, friendly helpful host

I was staying while competing in a Triathlon at Llanberis. The cottage fit my needs perfectly. Clean with all amenities needed, and clear easy instructions for arrival/departure, and quick comms with the host. Thanks.

Lovely cottage

Very cosy cottage in a beautiful location. Very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. The check in was straight forward and I'd definitely return.

Lovely highlands cottage

We had such an easy, sweet time at the cottage. Cwm y Glo at first seemed drab, but turned out to be perfect. Hiking in the hills right across the street was dreamy, walking to the lake and to the Coffi Caban, and playing with our kid at the park and skate park in town was great. The cottage was clean and functional for our family & friend, and everyone was very friendly. We love North Wales!

Excellent cottage to explore North Wales

Property was clean, warm, well maintained and had all we needed for a short stay (3 nights) however the facilities provided (washing machine, freezer etc) meant you could easily stay for a week without a problem. Only 5 mins drive to Llanberis and easy access to various other North Wales attractions inc castles, beaches and various Zip World sites (Note: Parking is on the road running through the village but not difficult to find space) WiFi: good for 2 young teenagers and able to stream movies to the TV Shop: petrol station 2 mins walk away for access to basics Pub: we ate at the pub up the road one night and were able to walk home. Also a short drive to get fish & chips in local village. Communication with owner was great and really appreciate the extra effort to resolve a booking issue that was entirely my own fault. Recommend and would return again if in the area.
