Getting Around:
Getting around the area is simple if you have a car. Thame is the closest town for essentials.
You can also get a taxi, but will need to follow our arrival info careful due to the huts rural location.

Other Things to Note:
Please note the charm of this shepherds hut is its complete privacy and detachment from modern life.

As the location is so rural the internet we supply is a mobile data style connection and may not be sufficient for large downloads, speeds may vary.

In an attempt to be environmentally practical the power is supplied by solar panels, please don't overload the system.

The wood burning heater which heats the hut is manually controlled by guests this will require guests to light and maintain the fire.

The wood burning hot tub will need to be manually operated by guests, the hot tub can take some time to heat up.
We will provide the logs and can help show you how to light them, we also provide a guide with pictures.

There is no oven but there are two hobs and a kettle.

The water pressure can fluctuate due to the remote rural location and this can sometimes effect the shower pressure.

Please only use the hairdryer provided.

All bedding provided at the apartment is hypoallergenic.

We provide an Initial supply of logs, matches & kindling.

​​​​​​​Please note, a refundable cautionary deposit of £300 is required before your stay starts. If you have booked via Airbnb, you will not be asked to pay a damage deposit.

Please note if you have booked via Hosting Holidays, 50% of your payment will be taken upfront, the other 50% will be collected 5 days before your check in date.
